I spent a day with someone else's tutorial, and learned about 1/4 of what I learned in 10 minutes here. Great style - gets to the point immediately and doesn't talk down to the viewer. Going too look at your other vids now. Thanks!
FANTASTIC tutorial Mr. Pejrolo! Thanks to you, I solved a problem I've been struggling with for two days in FIVE MINUTES. Greatly, greatly appreciated!
Absolutely first rate tutorial, thank you. I wonder how these tools stack up to Melodyne. It's great that these are part of Logic, it makes e.g. undoing changes much easier.
I basically know everytNice tutorialng there is to know about soft soft but I still watched tNice tutorials through just because of how good you explained
please make a tutorial for beginners explaining what each key is for and used for in logic pro x. i have searched everywhere for someone who can walk through the steps except your videos. thank you so much.
Thank you for the video! Very informative and is going to save me lots of time from my usual method, to isolate the offending part onto it's own track and use the pitch correction plug in. I knew this was in Logic but don't have too many times when I need it, until today! Thanks again!
Ah that's a shame - found that a really cool feature on Melodyne for when I wanted to use my own voice for backing vox etc but without it sounding weird. Thanks though!
good day sir. I found you on UA-cam aboutPitch Correction in Logic Pro X. my question is did you make that video with the key of the song in C major, or was that a default? I saw the key at the top of your logic screen. thanks.
Very good explained (I knew it already) - but one question to all of you - when I am finished the work with Flex Pitch (by the way: that is the right word for it - there is a plug-in named PitchCorrection in Logic too, you can insert in the channel-slot, doing other stuff), sometimes in my result is a scratch to hear - too disturbing to keep it in use - have you got same experiences and do you know something about it?
Hi! Cool video.... @ 2:30-2:40 you choose "G major scale".... why this one? Would all of the other options be out of tune with the backing music? How is it possible to know what to choose for this step for lots of different songs? This is the part I can't get my head around... I record lots of backing music with a guitar but I have no idea what key/scales they are in. Any ideas?
Usually the chord that the song ends on is the tonic and that will tell you the key of the song. In most pop songs the major scale associated with that chord will work for the whole song. Other than that, work with a partner who knows music theory.
This is one of the most concise and easy-to-follow Logic tutorials I've ever seen. I'm putting your name on the Thank You liner notes.
5 1/2 years later and this is still a very helpful and powerful tutorial. Thanks!
I spent an hour trying to do this before finding your video.
This fixed everything. Thank you.
This looks like what I've been searching for to make natural and professional vocal tracks. Nice explanation. Thanks.
Fast and to the point - wish all UA-cam tutorials were this way!

I just spent 2 hours correcting each note, only to have all of my work disappear when I clicked a different track. Anyone know why?
Thank you for such a clear tutorial,, very helpful.. David
that's awesome, it's practically melodyne
+Francis Medallo True! Do you know if you can change the vocal tone like in Melodyne too?
+Jamie Melville Hi, I don't think you can change the Formant (tonal character) of the audio
Ah that's a shame - found that a really cool feature on Melodyne for when I wanted to use my own voice for backing vox etc but without it sounding weird. Thanks though!
you can , but it's not as precise as melodyne , one of the 6 blue circles attached to every note when you hover over it is the formant circle
Francis Medallo yea it' made by the same company as melodyne
Superb video and very nicely explained.
