    xD i live in juarez and those streets are not dangerous at all , i mean of course its juarez we are talking about, but theres no such thing as " dangerous streets" , the real danger comes from the criminal organizations, and it doesnt matter what street you live in. so, as someone who lives here, i can say all the streets are safe as long as you are not involved in any criminal activity.

      Yup, its not like ghettos in the US where if you keep away you'll be safe. In Tijuana or Juarez, if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time (restaurant, bar, club etc) where someone else is the target, you run the risk of getting killed to.

    Not even near to the most dangerous streets of Juarez, but yeah, I understand why people say its dangerous, the cartel confrontations give the city a bad reputation but most of the violence is gangs vs gangs, is not common that normal people get involved in to this kind of confrontations. BUT, there are some streets near to what we call Anapra (north west of juarez) and riberas (west) that really are dangerous to everybody, you can’t walk there without paying a fee, getting robbed or worst, but those streets that you were driving are totally normal and if you are a normal citizen you are safe.

    I live in Cd Juarez, I'm 20 years old. I'm studying engineering, with my experience there's not such dangerous streets, almost all the crimes in this city are related to drug dealers or cartel members, every day I have to take the bus from my house to the university, and I have never been robbed or killed Lol, or even seen something like that in front of my eyes, there's a lot of good and bad people like other places in the world, and is true that Cd Juarez was the most dangerous city 10 years ago, but now it's just another industrial town in Mexico, with a lot of new factories in construction and with a better economy than most of the cities in Mexico. (To say nothing of a lot of people come to this city every year to get a job)

      @@xavi4694 Yep!, but now those crimes are different than 10 years ago, I still remember the worst year here in Cd Juárez in 2011, when you could see a lot of murders on the streets, without say about kidnappers, México was still recovering from the 2008 recession, and a lot of factories (Maquiladoras) went out from Juárez during those times, but now it's totally different there's too many people coming every month, due to the factories, just like it used to be before at the 2007, now it's crazy but by one hand there's a lot of jobs, and in the other there's a lot of crimes related to drugs.

    • @xavi4694
      @xavi4694 2 роки тому +6

      @@zjavierar2430 thats true. In 2011 cartels were slaughtering each other in Daily broadlight, thats why we had 10 or more murders per day and all the streets and shops were closed because we were so afriad to go outside and get killed. Now the normal life has returned and all is normal except the current battleground in the skirts of our city. That means if you are not involved in the cartel stuff you will be fine doing normal business. The problem is that cartels has infiltrated in our political system and they would decide when this bloodshed will end. Sadly this is a failed state and a juicy business for the americans with their demand and high assault riffles. I hope that some lost bullet never hit us in our lifetime. The police and the politicians are not for serving us,the good people. I am a graduated engineer too and we the hardworking and study people are in the cartels`s merciness and thats not fair. If you study in the uacj one teacher from IIT was kignapped and killed in one of our dustry streets like a dog, he has Phd in engineering, his name was alejandro iniestra and nothing happened,maybe the police and our judges did not give a f. Cuk. They only wanted his money.

Based on my experiences entering Mexico via car to Juarez- at the crossing they have a system where a light flashes green and you can enter without being inspected for anything other than your ID documents if it flashes red then you are to pull over to the inspection area. Depending on the border guard they would be willing to take a little bribe to avoid the hassle of making you open your trunk and your luggage if you have any *wink wink*

    I see you started at the free bridge and drove west towards downtown Juarez. At nine minutes twenty seven seconds you are at Carnitas Estilo Michoacan and you can see the El Paso overpass bridge and the Wells Fargo Plaza building in the background. Cool.
