- Ilyasi Masjid Pakora - A shop that is older than Pakistan. This is a must stop when traveling around this part of Pakistan. Not only to see a beautiful Mosque, but to also satisfy your hunger at a place that has been serving up Pakora for longer decades. The must for me is the Onion Pakora, but they have all types of Pakora you can choose from. Don't forget to dip it in the addictive Chutney.

Mian Jee Punjab Restaurant- I am usually not a fan of road side stops, but leave it to Pakistan to prove me wrong. This is another must stop spot when traveling to the north into Kashmir. This place was opened by a man from the Punjab region. The must try for me are the Desi Ghee Paratha and the Shahi Daal (Daal Fry). Also the Chana is so nice here with high quality ingredients. Of course you can get some sweets such as Malai with sugar topping.

Wow nostalgic for me. I have had these 🥔 potato cutlets here dozens of times during my student years and had swam in the adjacent ilyasi masjid pool/pond whatever you may call it. Max and Chris please visit the nearby Osama bin laden alleged accused compound only fee streets away and just imagine/laugh at the sort of stories USA has made up to feed to its public. The most wanted man for years hiding in a busy city safely out of sight of the most advanced technology and intelligence in the world 🤔😀 enjoying same pakoras potato. And exactly when needed, he was randomly discovered from there. Take some with you to eat and enjoy along the short trip there.

Beautiful mosque i had visited this mosque in 2019 , when we were touring on school trip.
Mouth watering dishes......pakora the most famous dish of Ramadan in Pakistan.... Desi ghee is actually clarified butter 🧈.... You explain Pakistani dishes very well although you are not native.
Again the most interesting part is the name of last dish....
And lassie is the sleeping dish and best after very spicy 🔥 food.

I do watch these type of, going places, vlogs. What I noticed that Pakistani towns, cities and villages are more open, spacious and full of life than other subcontinent countries. Food, of course adds more flavour and hospitality level is next to none.
Do visit Gilgit , Hunza and Skardu . There natural beauty is mind blowing

You should try green mint/ fresh coriander chutni with little Heinz ketchup, dip pakoras!! Mouth watering
you should try malai with mangoe chutney that is available in jars and parathas Its not very popular but i realy like it in breakfast
