- She may have a face only a mother could love, but she sure does sound sweet! The camera doesn't capture the 'presence' at all. The 60 degree V-Twin sounds awesome through the Staintune pipes.

I loved your enthusiastic review! have a 2001 yellow Mille R. I love this bike! Such character! Single exhaust though, Akrapovich. At 20k miles the electronics started to go. I replaced the fuel pump, then the starter went. I'm rebuilding the wiring, starter solenoid, and generator. It must live again!! I've had drivers brake check me and have simply flicked around them. I'm 6'2" tall. It fits me well. My other vehicles are a 2014 Honda Valkyrie which I find too heavy, having been spoiled by the Aprilia. And a 2017 Shelby GT350, my daily driver. Everyone around me thinks I'm too old to ride such a motorcycle. They just don't know how vital such a bike is to a person's psyche. Thank you for your review.
I recently found a 2002 RSV Mille R last year with only 302 miles. I am 6' 2" as well and absolutely gobsmacked by how comfortable it is to ride. I've never owned an "R" version of any sport bike and I absolutely love this machine. I was 55yo and also got all of the "you're too old" "midlife crisis" nonsense as well. I didn't bother saying "Try and watch me" because I already know they'll never be able to keep up or understand anyway. They should read up on T. E. Lawrence. BTW I have an '06 GT, also my daily driver ^_^ Great comment and thanks fpr sharing! 😊
I'm 1,92m But this bike actually fits my quite well compared to an R6.
Best sound for the money if you ask me. Looks quite modern for the age and till so far pretty damn reliable.
I like the sign that said test ride new models today!

That exact one? I went back there a few months later and it was gone. There was something about that bike... I couldn't stop thinking about it.

@@SounderAU yeah i bought it and sold it to Dan after a year or so but it was a bit much for me, only in the respect that it's kind of head down arse up with regards to riding position, I'm more into touring type bikes these days and race reps cane my knees/hips/shoulders etc.. But it is one helluva bike, funny story, when i bought it I was getting changed out of my normal clobber into my riding gear, so there I was down to me jocks in the lower area of the car park whilst getting changed into my riding gear, I kinda felt someone was watching me, hahaha I looked up towards the road an there was an old lady in the passenger seat of a Pajero or some 4x4 thing watching me, i apologised of course but she was having a good old chuckle about it all, " Best i have seen all week ' she said.. ;-)

I thought it was hilarious when you said you looked like a bear humping a marshmallow. And if you didn't say that, well that's what I heard. And since the motorcycle is yellow all I could think of was a yellow marshmallow Peep! LOL!
