I purchased this lift for my wheelchair bound daughter and it has been everything I hoped for and more. We use it for getting her in and out of her bed, toilet and car. I have a Toyota Camry and it folds easily snd fits in my trunk. She feels completely safe and comfortable. We can’t thank you enough for this product.

Excuse me if this is an impolite question, but how did you use this left for you daughter when using the bathroom? How do you get her undressed and dressed after? Our mother has ALS, and we're trying to figure out all of these issues. Thanks.
The portion of the video which shows the preparation for loading into the minivan is edited and does not show the man locking the rear wheels in the "tucked in" position prior to lifting it up into the vehicle. Also, if the lip of the cargo area on the vehicle you are loading into is tall you will have a great deal of trouble picking up the lift and loading it. The lift weighs almost 100lbs so the more vertical it is when you lean it against the vehicle, the more weight you must lift.
I would have liked to see them put the sling on when the person is laying in the bed without it already on. Such as when they are sleeping and you do not already have it under you. Perhaps raising back of bed will make it easy. Also what site sling is used on this person, I would want to get similar size, but they have 3.
The Cradle Clip Sling shown in the video is a medium size. A video to show how it is applied to a user lying on bed is notavailable. The application of sling in this situation are all the same.
Agreed there should be a video showing how you get the patient into a car...after all it is CALLED "car transfer lift" . Also the person shown in the video can move/lean forward on their own in the wheelchair when inserting the sling. I have just purchased this devise and have only tried once to familiarize myself and the patient with the process but could not get the sling under because I need to push/lean the patient safely forward with one hand while trying to insert the sling with the other, without success. I am a sole caregiver thus utilizing a second person is not an option. I would appreciate any suggestions as I try to figure it out. When/if I'm successful I will return to this site to share.

A caregiver can insert his/her hand into the pocket and push the sling down the back of the user onto the buttock area. For a dependent user in a wheelchair, the caregiver may try to fit the sling by standing in front of the user. Again, practice will make it perfect. You may find the best way to fit the sling and do the transfer after a few tries.
@@BestcareLLC VERY CUTE... all you did was run the current video backwards. As for the sling, I had already gotten it to work by standing in the front of the patient/wheelchair... it was cumbersome and slow but I did get it to work. Hopefully I can/will get the process to be more efficient.
@@luckyskittles5007 It is unfortunate that the design, promotion and marketing completely forget many people are care givers to a patient that has no physical ability and no limb awareness to move or control themselves. I am alone lifting a very frail 99 Year Old Dementia mother who panics, cries and cries out loud every single lift. This complicates what they make look like a very relaxed easy for everyone process. In general these lifts are good but I have identified the top bar is too short causing the patients feet to get caught against the upright, again not a problem if the patient can and is aware to move their own feet.
As promised I am providing additional feedback. I have been able to successfully utilize the lift for car transfer which was my prime reason for the purchase. The secondary reason was to have it in case I was not able to physically lift my wife (emergency use). I will be having a medical procedure where I am not supposed to lift for a period of time. At that time I will certainly be testing/utilizing the other features ...bed to chair to couch and vice versa. Again I will return (hopefully) to share my experience for other users.
Hello, yes we have a 2 and a 6 point spreader bar option that is compatible with the PL350CT. However, if these are used instead of the cradle clip spreader bar there will be some limitations/decrease in the overall lifting height of the lift. If you use the 2 and 6 point spreader bar you can choose any of the Bestcare sling ling to use with the lift.
Does the hoist has a safety release, i'm just worried while lifting the patient the battery ran out and the patient will be hanging on the hoist? And does it give an alarm if the battery is low?
The PL350CT can work with most family sedans, SUVs, and trucks. There are some things to keep in mind for it to work well for all these vehicles. Compatibility will be a combination of the clip sling size and vehicle seat height from ground. For vehicles with seat height under 34", all 3 sling sizes M,L,& XL should work. For vehicles with seat height between 34"-36", only M & L sling sizes work. For vehicles with seat height 39" or taller, only M size would work. The top bar on all these lifts needs to be longer, we are moving an extremely frail 99 Year old mother with dementia, she does not have any awareness of limb or foot location. All of these lifts do not provide clearance between the upright lift mechanism and the patients feet as is shown occurring in this video as he turns her. You have to be very careful to not accidentally hurt or injure the patients lower leg or foot from binding contact when focusing on the patients stress or panic needs while performing the lifting and rotating. I am surprised this very simple design flaw which is even more of an issue with men having longer legs and bigger feet has not been recognized and corrected. The top bar should be at minimum approximately 8 - 10” 20 - 25 CM longer to provide free non binding foot clearance, the increased reach also would provide easier bed placement for a patient that may need to sleep on their side for pain or bed sore relief. General function is good otherwise.

Yes. It is similar to getting a user to/from a passenger seat unless there is any obstacle in the way.
