I was always confused in type 2 and 3 because usually people teach it with probability and you taught it very simply with present and past. Wow! grateful to you.
I have not available time to study English, but even so, when it happens I look at your videos. God bless and reward you for spreanding your English knowledge for free.
Thank you Antonia, I am studying the conditional before to get in to study Inversion which I consider really complicated. You have helped me out because you make simple the learning process. Thank you
Hello from Taiwan. Thanks a lot for your English and Russian lesson. Because of my curious to Russian culture, I also start to learn some Russian. Your video and interpretation very clearly :) And by the way, you're pretty gorgeous ha ha.
Hi Dear Antonia. I got this question. Which of these statements is definetely correct: 1- If Covid-19 had not emerged, I would have been taking care of my old Granpa. 2- I would have been taking care of my Grandpa if Covid-19 had not come up. I hope my structure meets the conditionals in order to form a third conditional sentence for instance. However I am asking because I do not know if those verbs that I am using are either correct or accurate for describing the action. I really thank you for your endless committment in order to help us growth in the language. Regards from Bogotá - Colombia.
In the conditional sentences type 2, she didn't mention the "to be" in past simple, If she did have mentioned, we would have used "were" for all subject including he, she, it or any singular pronouns.
Can I ask you a question, teacher?. The first conditional expresses conditional that is true in present or the future. I have an example: I have no money. If I have , I will buy that book (new house. a bike ...). It is untrue in present, but it can happen in the future. Therefore, Can I use the first conditional as the sentence above? Thank you!
If I have money, I will buy that book. This sentence is possible ;) you talk about future, but it will sound more natural like this: If I get the money (or more money), I will buy that book.
Mam‚it is very amazing guidelines to all of us. Please ma'am making a video the noun, pronoun adjective verb ,adverb , what's will be meaning of one word when a word used in a sentence separately
Antonia Romaker - English and Russian online are you sure? because a native speaker said that is better "heat" ok! anyway, thanks for your answer. bye for now
Great video! I think there is a mistake though... In the last mixed conditional (simple past, would+have+3rd participle) you wrote : "If he weren't so lazy, he would have been promoted long before." I think it has to be "If he WASn't so lazy, ..." (he is, he was, he has/had been) -> simple present, 3rd form singular = was
Hello Romaker. so there are only three type of sentences past, present, and future in russian. I am just wondering if there are passive tenses like past, present, and future passives? I am also wondering some verbs have prefix (по) sometimes they do not have
Is it only me or someone though that the white board behind her was big, but it just looks small because it was too far from her, and then suddenly discovered that iT IS A SMALL WHITE BOARD! no? Anyone? K.. btw thank you sooo much your explanation is so clear

Like seriously It was so embarrassing to me when I hear someone uses these things while I just could not. Now this is my time 1) she is happy if she sees me ( 0 conditional) 2) if I call her early morning, she will be happy ( 1st cond...) 3) if I were you, I would marry her ( 2nd cond...) 4) if only I had known, I never would have let her go ( 3rd cond...) Please tell me if all these phrases are okay for each conditional. One more thing, is the use of "if" a must for each case?
How to formulate present perfect sentences to conditional sentences? For example.... Situation one ... (1)I have just eaten so, I can't go out with you for dinner....how to formulate this present perfect sentense(I have just eaten) If I did not eat, I would go out with you for dinner. Or If I had not eaten, I would go out with you for dinner. Any teacher has never discribed about how to convert conditional from present perfect....they always discuss about past situation but what about recent past which has connection with present....can we use second conditional or we have to use past perfect in those types of situations....please guide about recent past which has connection with present.....second situation (2)He has killed his wife so police will arrest him. If he did not kill(or had not killed)his wife, police would not arrest him. Situation three... (3)He has killed his wife so Police has arrested him. If did not kill( or had not killed) his wife, Police would not have arrested him. As every one says Second conditional is used for 'present' and 'future'.....dose the 'present' mean 'present simple' or' present perfect'? Third conditional used for past tense.does it mean 'past simple' and 'resent past(present perfect)?... Please guide me I am very eager to know your answer.....
