Hallo Fabian, hat uns super gefreut dein Kommentar, vielen Dank! Wir geben uns beste Mühe - und Feedback wie von dir hält die Motivation hoch. Vielen lieben Dank! :)
Your videos are so amazing Helana and Vincent. Thank you for taking us along, for educating us and for inspiring us to go see and experience the many treasures the world offers us. The quality of your videos and your story telling is so amazing. Happy 22nd Birthday Helena. I will do my best to spread the word to get you to 22K views! (BTW, WE RECEIVED OUR VAN THIS WEEK!!!)
Hey Enrico, Helena here :) Thank you so much that's so cute of you :) We're very glad you liked the video. And awesome to hear that your van arrived. What are your plans with it?
@@fromwhereweare My family and I live in the Pacific Northwest. My wife Yumiko, my son Tino and I plan to take our Sprinter Van exploring the beautiful landscape of the United States and Canada. I love both landscape and wildlife photography. Occasionally I will make solo trips to just concentrate on that. Thank you for inspiring us and for encouraging us to open our eyes!
@@EnricoPozzo That sounds great! Helena and I did a short roadtrip from LA to Moab and back. The scenery is truly spectacular. Can't wait to discover that part of the world on our trip as well. Maybe in 1-2 years from now, who knows :)
@@fromwhereweare We just spent time in Moab, such a breathtaking area. The Pacific Northwest is very different: mountain ranges, the most northern rain forest, pine trees for days, a breathtaking coastline, whales, orcas... It would be a pleasure assisting you with an itinerary when you are on your way. I will be following your adventures and beautiful videos while you are on your way!
Hey Enrico, it's Helena and Vincent. We've been trying to get in touch with you to express our gratitude! We'd be super happy to hear a quick "ping" at fwwa@janvincentkleine.com so that we can write you properly!
Shout out to the two of you for such a nice, well done channel. Stumbled accidentally to your yt channel. Watch all episodes in one go, subscribed and thump up. I’m in the middle of preparing a new Van for a trip around the world. For me, this is real freedom to do and to go wherever you want. Bon voyage, gute Reise, safe travels!
Nice to hear from you. I start in the USA, will travel for several years north and south America, Russia towards Europe. I don’t have much of a plan, just follow the road. I’m building a new Sprinter Van. May I mention, you had problems with your leaf springs. Since you planning to travel to Alaska and over to Russia, Mongolia and so on, you guys will come across a lot of dirt roads and corrugation. Have look in to a upgrade on your suspension from Van Compass in Idaho USA. It’s expensive but worth every cent.
@@vanlifeoverlander6785 That sounds great. Setting out without too strict of a plan will make for beautiful experiences! Yes, the suspension. I thought about upgrading the suspension before the trip. Vancompass has a european distributor it seems, and there's some others that offer similar packages. Including Mercedes themselves, that have something like 12 different spring-rate combinations that you can order. But time was too short before shipping. We tried to keep the weight of the van as low as possible but the rear is still hanging a little lower than the front which lowers ground clearance under the belly and departure angle. And also lowers suspension travel of course. We'll for sure think about upgrading via Vancompass when we come to the US, thanks for the reminder! We've now left the last ripio (corregated dirt road) parts of the Carretera Austral. From here it's mostly tarmac until we hit the desert tracks in the Atacama and Altiplano. It can't get harder than in southern Patagonia though haha. Those roads are eating up every car that is not a Landcruiser or Unimog within 2-3 years...
I'm enjoying your video journey after discovering them through Tompkins Conservation. Very interesting contrast in views on conservation from the sheep ranchers (1 puma hunting 80 sheep in a night, one day sheep may no longer exist). A question from a past video -- are you happy with the results of the surgery?
Hey Kevin, great to have you follow along. It was very special for us to learn about the work of Tompkins in the field! The surgery went super smooth, thanks for asking! I don't notice the plastic in my belly at all 😊
