Ohio State needs to get out of their heads and learn to finish strong. A big lead is not a win. Londot was done by the middle of game 2. Fix that and they win. Moore should have been replace. Akana looked amazing with her defense and serves. I think Akana is better than Fleck. Fleck gets the ball up but not to the setter. Did Fleck ever cover a block successfully? Sadly Akana will never be the libero because the freshman Halter is better than Fleck and quicker than Akana. Akana should have stayed at NE. Texas needs to set Caffey more. Texas is not using her talents. Must fix that now to have a chance at a title. The difference in this game was unforced errors committed by Ohio.
It’s the first game of the season homie chill, Fleck and Halter are very good and Akana is behind them (she’s not better than either) Fleck played well but it’s the first game and there is nerves, Akana did amazing but that’s expected from a Defensive player from Neb. You also have to understand that Saige/Ewert/Crownover may not have the best connections yet with each hitter, again it’s the first game of the season. We may see a different lineup and different things it’s still way to early to make those statements lol

Good for them to get exposed to what they need to clean up to be competitive in Nov when it matters. Wished they had done better scheduling so they are not seeing Texas back to back, as that seems like it is more risk than any reward returned from doing so.
Ya, Texas has a stacked deck. Their best server and all around better player never got any playing time (Para). If I were her, I'd red shirt and find a new team. I'm betting she will leave Texas if that continues. Big 10 has one of the toughest conferences in the nation. OH 10 don't read to much into these losses, I suspect you'll be thick in the playoffs later on.
