Great band, great to see and hear old school rock is still out there with the younger generation. Takes me back to my playing and giging days here in the UK in 80's/90's fronting rock bands. Still playing, singing and writing but as a solo artist now, and creating and making FX pedals. Once you've got music in your blood it's hard to stop creating.

It does seem like the bass went in and out and disappeared. I think they had a bad sound guy or something. Ashley’s bass (when you could hear it) was clanky at times and that’s definitely not her sound. The bottom end was not there in this performance. It should be heavier than it is. Chris Akin of The Classic Metal Show and his friend, Erik Ferentinos, interviewed Bella nearly 2 years ago. After the interview with Bella ended and she logged out, Chris and Erik had a conversation about Brooke. Chris said he heard Brooke told the band she wouldn't do their upcoming tour with Alice In Chains unless they gave her more money, so they decided to replace her. Brooke and the band released statements saying Brooke was leaving to pursue another project. The band contacted Faith Powell. She spent 7-10 days learning their set, played a show with them at the New York State Fair and was asked to do the Alice In Chains tour with the band. 7 weeks after Faith played her first show with Plush, they formally announced she would be their permanent drummer. The band Brooke joined after leaving Plush was a band called Vonan and they were led by a guitarist named Brinley Amicon. Both Brooke and Brinley swore Vonan would release some material in 2024, but it looks as though Brooke has since left the band. She announced on Facebook that she would be playing with an outfit called This Is Aesthetic Perfection in September and October of 2024 and that they were going to open some shows for Till Lindermann of Rammstein. From what I understand, This Is Aesthetic Perfection makes heavy use of synthesizers and they're in the vein of Nine Inch Nails or Ministry.
The 2 bands that are opening for GVF right now have better numbers than Plush does, sadly. Im not saying thats how you get tours and opening slots but it does help if you got streams and youtube views in the millions.
Yes. The original drummer was named Brooke Colucci. She was with them from 2020 to 2022. The drummer in this video is Faith Powell and she's been with them since 2022.

I guess I'm in the minority; I'm struggling to enjoy Plush with the new drumming. I swear I have been trying to be fair, impartial, and give a sufficient sample size. But it just isn't up to the high standard that was there before. I like smiles and stick twirls as much as anyone, and Tama drums/Zildjian cymbals are my favorite, but I fell in love with the previous interesting and intriguing drumming style/sounds/textures/attack/nuances/creativity. I'm going to keep trying. Give me more time. it's like Rush replacing Neil Peart with Tommy Lee. Thank god Ashley is the glue that holds it all together. Love her playing/P-bass sound (not the Meteoras tho) and vocals. Love Bella's playing. Love Moriah's everything. Maybe they'll take a break from the NorthEast and play out here on the West coast a little bit so I can go to the show.
I’ve said this before and it bears repeating. Faith is playing Brooke’s drum parts. Brooke wrote them and Faith is “faithfully” playing them really beat for beat. Yes, her style tends to be more of a basher, but that’s ok for the type of music they play lends well to that style, I’d even say more than Brooke’s style. They are both excellent at what they do. It’s clear that Brooke is the more schooled and polished of the two, but again, that’s a style thing. Brooke would be a golden ticket doing session work for any style as from what I’ve seen, she can play anything. With all of that said, I think when new music is written and recorded you will hear Faith finally be able to write her own parts in her style, and my guess is we’ll all be saying yea, that makes sense. Live, Faith is a show unto herself.
@@rdrive1 so you saw them with Brooke and they were amazing. Now with the latest drummer you don't care for them. Are you Brooke s father? Sure seems that way. There is not a lot of difference in each drummer. Neither you or I or a guru on percussion and you spend to much energy on defending Brook
You're talking about this as if you're discussing sports. Music is an art, not a sport. This competitive mentality and talk about who's better is childish. The women in Plush and The Warning are friends and admirers of each other's work and they want to see each other's band succeed. I don't agree with you that The Warning are better at playing their instruments but even if that was true, it wouldn't matter. Opinions of which band is better is a matter of an individual's preferences. Any music fan can like and support both bands. Why make comparisons? As far as I'm concerned, Plush writes better songs. Moriah blows the doors off Dani when it comes to vocals and Moriah or Bella can play guitar just as well as Dani and probably even better. I don't think Ale's a better bassist than Ashley and I don't think Pau's a better drummer than Faith. It's time to leave this silly debate for the adolescents to settle and start conducting yourself like a grownup.
