lingren is the 4th best dman on the team. schneids and miller are better
Lindy has absolutely no stats to warrant even a raise. We can replace him easily, if we forget that he's got to carry Fox. Its time that Fox get a new partner and start to focus on his own D game. Lindy isn't getting much for his 1 goal and no offensive stats with an injury prone year.
How about future Center can be#1 center who can be #1 Line
They just better not over pay him and need to keep the term reasonable and don’t give him a NTC or limited trade deal.

Referring to the over passing and squandered scoring chances, the east west instead of north south puck driving and shooting first and playing the rebounds instead of getting to cute and overly considerate of who scores the goal. How many times have we all been sitting there watching the game and said "SHOOT THE DAME THING!!!"

For ages the Rangers have needed to upgrade the Defense. For years our Defense has been saved by legendary goaltending but not string Defense.

Guys he’s really not. Go back and watch the Panthers series he was out of position severely on many goals. They want to run a 1-3-1 he can’t do it. Look at Bennetts goal who slips behind him and he doesn’t feel him. He’s better than Zadorov and Tanev at same price?

Lindgren...if they can keep him on an affordable contract, I would keep him. The guy has no fear and puts himself on the line every game. He works hard. There's questions about injuries but if we can pick up a big defenseman or two to ease the pressure and put the hurt on the other team, that might give Lindgren some breathing room.

Good point, plus he's still relatively young a 4 year deal at max for the right dollars.
You guys have to stop believing what Sam and John Mich say about our players. Fox isn't the same guy that won the Norris. Cale Makar is eating Fox's lunch the last 2 yrs. Fox is average, at best on Defense. He's scored half his points on PP, means he's only average 5v5 and not as effective even thought he's out there 1:30 on each PP.
Lindgren is your fifth or sixth defenseman… Nothing better. Drury cannot make this mistake and sign this guy long-term. It’s time to say goodbye. Go get yourself a third and a fourth round draft pick for him and get him out of a Ranger uniform.

Sorry guys but you are wrong as far as us having center prospects. Barker isn't even consider to be anything more than a 4th line center and there are no other good center prospects in our system which most NHL insiders agree with. Most of them agree we need centers most of all so I'm sorry but you guys need to do a little more homework before you have a podcast.

Lindgren is the Bull dog of the team. During the playoffs Fox was getting HUMILIATED on the ice by Florida and no one came to his rescue. Lafreniere has to put up goals next season for him to be paid big numbers. Kakko and Trouba waste of space.
Trouba contract starting to sink in to the masses. Lindgren could have been handled during the season if that trade and then signing never took place. Oh yeah Lafreniere is not the answer best bet is to dump him while people think he is worth something. You'll get more for him then Kakko. And if you haven't noticed Kakko is an easy contract player, who will probably end up staying fairly cheap and be a grinder. Yeah it sucks 2nd overall not being a Pavel Datsyuk. But at least he understands his play doesn't allow him to demand anything. Everybody pumping up Lafreniere to only find out in a couple years he can't be the teams #1 overall player and carry the team but will demand that type of money. You all will be as dumbfounded and disappointed as you all are with how Trouba has proven to be. Cut ties with him get a legitimate Center to help Othmann and Cuylle, and then Perrault flourish while biding time to get past the bad NMC's given to the vets of the team. Kakko would end up being a decent 3rd liner and an easy contract negotiation in the future. Lafreniere will become a nightmare to sign with his Panarin/Trochek affect numbers only to never become a leader. Hope Fortescue advances fast and would like to see Robertson get some ice time. He has size. Zac Jones is only improving even though he keeps the team small, like the guy but figure he would become a good tradeable player.
TRADE LINDGREN, TOO SMALL, ZERO OFFENSE, INJURED ALL THE TIME. ZERO PUCK CARRYING ABILITY... GETS TRAPPED IN OWN END EVERY PLAYOFFS.. HE IS TERRIBLE...
Lindgren is a bad dude. Tough as nails. We need to get it done and lock him down. Sign more like him, and we might be bringing a cup to NYC next year.
