So fascinating! Slinky and his dirt dessert with his chicken! Then Lagertha and her proper table manners! Watching her use her claws so precisely to dissect her meal was amazing.
Gotta love monitor lizards especially slinky when he gives dad a whipping. Love seeing him interacting with Keenan. I hope he can eventually do the same with lagatha and the other monitors. You should give slinky a huge chook or piglet which he cannot possibly swallow whole and see if he can shear of flesh like a Komodo dragon does from a huge prey item, actually have never seen another monitor lizard species do it as effectively as a Komodo dragon. Great exercise and enrichment for a monitor lizard!

Pinky already has a great enclosures...I can't wait to see her new abode! All of your reptiles have fabulous enclosures Kenan!!❤❤. Don't even think that they don't. Every monitor lizard on planet Earth would give half of their tail to getting live in an enclosure like you provide for Slinky and Pinkie and Larthega and Bobby Rubino and your black dragon and your rhino iguanas and your cherry heads and your sliders and Sulcatas and your Abbadabba'sdoobies😄🤣😅... damn I can't think of that last giant tortoise... starts with a B..or a G..Guadalupe?? you could build a cage next to slinkys cage and make a tunnel only pinky can fit in so she can visit slinky if she want to. that way they have seperate areas and she can get privacy when she she wants to. i guess she will be moastly on her side anyway but she will have acsess to the water if she wants to swim at times.

Can anybody see that beautiful eyeliner around pinkies? She is stunningly beautiful. I've watched a lot of monitor lizards these last couple years and pinky is the prettiest of the girl monitors.

Slinky looked so intelligent with that fourth chicken piece, like he was taking the time to think and plan how he was going to swallow that hunk of meat.

And I really feel I have to say your beautiful girl Kate is such an awesome woman for supporting you and your love for reptiles especially to the extent that your entire property accommodates your passion for your reptiles😊 Kate’s a keeper❤️ I have a reptile room😉 lol and a lot of my time is spent caring cleaning…etc… you know how it goes we can literally just sit and observe our animals for hours.. time passes and it’s like we are nearly in a trance watching them.. our spouses need to be appreciated for putting up with us😉🙃♥️ I hope to be able to visit your place one day with my family.

I gotta admit I felt a little bad for Pinky too, cause you had put her in first then Slinky so she might've thought it was all her home and she loved it, regardless of the annoying Slinkster 😆
She was taking advantage of this beautiful enclosure and she wasn't going to let Slinky steal her thunder.
But at the end of the day I understand why you had to do it. The enclosure was built for Slinky and he was always hot on her feet, trying to get some and most likely at night when nobody was watching 👀
Plus he started digging trying to get in there with her and you never know?
Especially when you're going out of town and I'm happy she'll get her own new big enclosure and she'll love that one too ❤
Life choices ain't always easy, but you have to outweigh the positive from negative and do the right thing for the animals in the short run, so that things will only get better in tje long run, for them and for your own sanity 😆

Well animals are individuals with their own unique personalities and experiences. Ive seen all sorts of water monitors.

Monitors just know how to eat. If it is small to medium, they just swallow it. If it is too large, they rip it apart first. Also Inky has made good progress of eating in front of you. After some time she won’t take the food away and eat in isolation.

Great video! Monitor appetites are truly amazing! My late Nile monitor Buddy once ate 6.5lbs of raw chicken breasts in one sitting. He was still nudging me for more food too, but that was all I had bought. He was 6ft 2inches at the time. He grew to about 6ft 6 inches before he passed away suddenly and mysteriously at around 4 years of age. Monitors are unfortunately very good at hiding their health issues until its too late. From the time I noticed symptoms it took less than 24 hours for him to pass away.
I love your videos but at the end with Bobby. Please take the rocks off the bottom, put substrate. He just fell and landed on rocks. Much safer if he falls onto substrate. Other than that. I love everything you do for animals Kenan keep it up!!
