      +B. Mills I was just busting your chops. It is a different classification for sure than here in Michigan. Oddly enough though, people still forget how to drive in the stuff. Love your vids. Keep em coming.

      +Mike Novak I know you were. I was alluding to the fact that people overreact here anytime we get any amount of snow. I'm glad you like them and thanks for the support.

    I guess for some people it's always a storm, when it snows, but looks like a normal winter day in Finland. :)
    That's a lot of traffic on those roads - nice driving!

    3:05 could been a lot worse, if that pickup was sliding, I bet stopping a 4 ton engine is going to be a bear to do.

    For these departments who are in these areas where it can snow like that and I am sure that it all depends on how much they get, but on the engines or trucks, if it gets bad enough, do they actually put either Snow tires or actual chains on them just so they can get around the snow covered streets easier then switch them back to the regular tires once all the snow disapears????

    • @claydogs123
      @claydogs123 8 років тому

      they put chains on

    • @claydogs123
      @claydogs123 8 років тому

      atleast where I live

    • @pizzasubs
      @pizzasubs 8 років тому

      if they do have to put chains on, that mean that if they do get a call they MUST remember that tires chains DO have some sort of a Speed limit on them, meaning if they travel a little too fast on them responding to a call and this does depend on road conditions as well, the tire chains can break on them, so it would be just like if patrol cars had to put chains on and Forbid they get into a lets call it snow chase or pursuit, those officers can only go so fast on them or those could break also.....

    • @slayslayslay
      @slayslayslay 8 років тому

      We had drop chains on most of our rigs. all we had to do if the snow started getting to bad was stop, flip a switch, make sure the dropped down and keep driving.

    • @pizzasubs
      @pizzasubs 8 років тому

      STICKYNOTE: are you saying that with a puch of a button the chains drop from wherever they are located. completly wrap themselves around the tires, hook themselves together and then you can drive off without even having to get out of the Vehicle? If this is true, I would give anything to see a video of this just so I can see for myself, then see how they come apart or unhooked and then see how they are stored away like you said all this with a pucjh of a button, I have nver heard of anything like this before, I always see bigger vehicle like trucks or maybe school buses that I see the chains dangling from undernieth them.....

    If you can see the road then it isn't a storm. Seriously though, a good, safe response in inclement weather.

      Excellent driving for everyone who's not used to snow, and having to pull off quicky for emergency vehicles!
