I like your video and your direct approach. I’m actually buying this pre amp because you sold me on it more than anyone else demonstrating this. I’ve been looking for something to make my audio sound better. I bought a few shotgun mics, boom stands, assorted cables, cold shoes etc. this will close the loop and step up my game. 👍 Thanks 🙏
Interestingly enough I called Beachtek, I bought the DXA-Max. Told the man I was using it for recording guitar amp speakers. He said the speaker had so much output maybe I’d need their attenuator. For $39 can’t go wrong. Boost signal lower signal. Covered. Then I bought a pair of SM57’s and XLR cables that have 3.5 male ends. Hope it works because I really don’t want an interface or have to use my computer at the recording phase
at 3:30 I meant to say stereo, not studio
