I wouldn’t mind having a drive in Bob’s car but a 10,000 hp funny car no thanks they move around way too much and because of the engine it in front of you not if but when the engine gos kaboom and travelling at 300+ mph it’s even more scarier that’s why John is a legend Because the Decades he has done the sport is incredible and at his age as well still going

First time they ever drove the car, they didn’t even know what their car looked like until right before the interview started. They didn’t even know they were going to this event. The whole thing is a surprise and this is the first time they are ever attempting to drive a vehicle actually. Beginners luck I guess you could call it.
Not knowing horsepower is normal. Most of these cars won't ever put down full power on a dyno, so you're left with approximations from the fuel used.

Its just a street racing thing.
It's SO crazy how far we're come in engineering a "street" car that the high 180's are just not even in the same league as these 215+ cars. It's almost like you want to say well that one was "slow" doing 180+ in 10sec.

Wind was diabolical this year! I can't remember a year in recent memory where the headwinds were just a constant 20mph and double that in gusts. Definitely seems to have affected the field, though the track looked pretty greasy to boot. Not having that direct overhead sun this time of year was an odd occurrence too.

18:39 I've seen that Integra at a meet before 😄. Kinda stole the show since he had another drag Integra with him too. I've also seen him face at Woodburn Dragstrip in Oregon at Import Faceoff. I beleive he lost to a sub 6 second R35.

1320 Video needs to start covering the Stampede of Speed event in Ennis, Tx @ the Texas Motorplex that race and I think it's called the Pro Mod Nationals in Bandimere, Co and a few other big races and also need to start covering more of the SCSN in Vegas and SCSN#2 in the Mid-West
Mile High Nationals and Thunder on the mountain are both a must see for any drag racing fan 👍👍
