Honestly, if people stopped using cars when they didn't need them and rode a bike instead (when it's not too far away) then we would help climate change so much, and obesity levels will drop faster than my grades. There should be laws on how senselessly we use our vehicles.
Animal agriculture causes more emissions than all transportation. Cutting out animal products will do even more than driving less.

Why don't we just hold mandatory exercise session in the town square every morning, or require shifts of labor intensive farming from everyone through the week. That sounds about as intensive as dictating what and when you can drive.
BTW 3rd world nations burn the rainforest and create 5 of the 30 billion tons of CO2 globally emitted annually. Forget the cars, just get them some fertilizer and mosquito nets.
My strategy is to not have kids (keeping more cars off the road) while driving my car as much as I want.

Trust. Throughout my childhood I would walk home from school for about an hour (2.5 miles) and now I’m walking to and from work everyday (7 miles in total). People r shocked when they hear how far I walk but honestly, an hour walk with music in the background to calm and relax the mind is amazing 👌🏽👌🏽

And everyone else too, so for everyone who wants to do there part for the world with out actually doing any more then you are now. Or if you just want to do your part, then there is a browser called Ecosia, that does the same as google but for every 45 serches they plant a tree in a place that really needs it. I've planted 12 trees and I've only been there for a week. They have an amazing history of helping people and they already planted 50 mil trees as of this week. So please switch from your web browser to Ecosia so we can all help the environment!

Well you would have to plant trees on an area as large as China to compense only 1% of the CO2-emissions of the USA, so planting trees is no bad idea but doesn't help very much

Cowcopter Becuase weather is constantly changing, we can predict it according to our knowledge of what has led to what. The world will still exist after we all die, we'll just end up super heating the world, and it'll become stable again at some point way in the future. On Earth day, someone in my community went around with flyers letting everyone know about the recycling bins, what colors go with what materials and whatnot-- I didn't even know we had recycling available! My fiancee and I recycle literally everything we can now. Sometimes all it takes is a little nudge and reminder. We can do it.

The animal agriculture section creates more greenhouse gases than the transportation sector alone. It is the leading cause of rainforest deforestation. It uses the majority of the earth's fresh water. It uses about 40% of the earth's land (or something crazy like that). The list goes on and on. I'm honestly surprised he didn't go into more detail about this. But bottom line, you are helping the environment TREMENDOUSLY!!!! Keep doing you boo :)

kauske In fact, I was not believing as well 20 years ago. But I think there is enough evidence to say how fart cause global warming. Imo, it is very hard to define ORGANICs, also there are not enough evidence saying GMO food will cause health issue. But just saying be open mind, we can stay what we dont believe, others can still believe what they believe, until there are enough evidence to disprove or prove it, there are no right or wrong answer.
