My grandparents almost got scammed like this once, but the person said their grandson needed bail and they were his lawer... be careful!! I will be having them watch this!!! Thank you so much!!
My elderly mom got a call saying her oldest grandson was in jail and needed bail money. My mom's oldest grandson had passed away. She hung up but the same guy kept calling. My Dad got on the phone and don't know what he said. But there were no more calls after that.

All too often people do not seek out the Geek Squad or other help until it's too late. There are pretty much no major companies (Amazon, Ebay, Social Security Admin, ect) that will ever call you. They send you snail mail. I feel like there needs to be senior education programs that focus on this topic as they seem to be the most vulnerable and hardest hit.
Hey, thank you for posting this info. I didn't know Geek Squad did this type of work, so I'll let my friends know. I have a friend who was scammed out of $3500.00 by phony "Microsoft " help calls. It's disgusting what these vile jackals do to innocent people. Thank you for the work you do!
SO glad he took the time with her. Thank you!
Dane, you are the best!
