- We bought this 2001 BMW M5 in September 2021. It needs a lot of work but it’s an amazing car and worth the effort! See below for part numbers and info for specific repairs.

E39 M5 is king. Am in the process of rebuilding my suspension and bushings. Keep making more content on this video.

Love that you are bringing this car back to life. I bought one for $7,500 three years ago and after a lot of this same work, it's amazing. I might look up that wheel shop. What did they charge you?
It was around $600+ tax (for all 4 wheels). If you’re local to Atlanta, it’s a very good deal! They told me they would match OE BMW color and while I absolutely love the outcome I would say it’s a little darker than Original shadow chrome. But l love it and no complaints! They dip and strip, fix bends, powder coat black and then paint/clear. So same as factory process. The kicker was, I brought them the wheels (with tires) on Friday evening at 5pm (cut off time) and they I mounted the tires, refinished the wheels and re mounted and balanced them by 9 am Saturday morning! I was shocked!
@@hackjobrepairs8938 they do look a bit dark, but they varied from the factory. I have 2 that are rather dark and 2 newer ones that are on the lighter side. The originals are flaking a little. At $600 total that's a really good deal!

These fans a know to grenade. Replace that fan and clutch with one from an E65/E66. Fan Blade 17417504732

Thanks but we already went back with original part from FCPEURO so now I’m covered for life. 😀
What stinks is I could have replaced both the clutch and fan blade for less than the OE clutch cost for the M5 using your part numbers.
