In Bangladesh, we call it haleem. Only difference is we don't grind the meat but grind the grains when they are dry and then soak the grains in hot water for 1-2 hours.
Ufff I thought it was just our family thing. We did however make it slightly differently. I remember having chanay alu and kadu in it as wel. And we didn’t blend. I think. I was quite young. Lol

One thing I'd do different is coarsely blend the daal mixture first, then add the mutton pieces. We generally add some bony pieces too. 😋👍💐💞💞💞

I think it's all one dish with different names, because this is definitely Haleem.
Daleem is all about daals. Haleem is daal wheat barley n meat blended n mixed well. N this is khichra because it is without barley
