He was in Florida with the Cadillac and Saturday was his day for Susan. But it was an awful story. Elaine’s was better.
Because when your partner catches you on the brink of success you just panic and your mind starts imaging she knows everything.

He wanted to but then she said that all of her friends warned her he wasn't good for her, and since George can never just take a L and admit someone else is right, he put both of them through this mess and one of them in the ground.
Makes sense in real life, but it wouldn't have made for a very funny episode.
None of Jerry's girlfriends ever had anything on George's near miss.

Kind of a flub here in the writing: not only would it make more sense that Elaine's view on exporting vs. importing would be the opposite of Art's, but if it weren't the opposite (and she just agreed with Art about focusing on the importing), why would there be a problem in their relationship?
