In this video, I'll be showing you how to transfer from the floor to your wheelchair, more specifically, if you are a paraplegic.
I'm a T8 incomplete paraplegic. There are many floor transfer techniques that can be used, but this is my preferred method of transferring from the floor to my wheelchair.

Alwyn, just for the record so I can remember this day, I don't know if you will be able to see this message because of the amount of messages you must receive: Today I remembered my mother, her healing, she was resurrected from the dead and without harm , without sequelae. It was in 2021 when she had Covid and was intubated for 19 days. It was a time of much crying, fasting and much prayer and God returned her without any consequences. Today I saw your testimony and prayed for your life, may the Lord restore you to the point that there will be no further consequences. God is the God of the impossible and I have been to this school a few times and I know that He really can do all things, just believe!

Thanks for this, gonna have to try that tomorrow with my PT guy. Next week, I'm getting my measurements taken for my hand-bike, so floor transfer is gonna get very handy!
Hey Luke, hope you're well! That's great to hear about the hand-bike! The technique is more or less the same there but way easier from the hand bike to the chair because of it's higher off the ground and also more places to put your hands for assistance. If you struggle with it let me know and we can do a video call to sort you out.

Alwyn, what chair are you using? I am really struggling to get a good rigid frame chair here in SA - we SA okes are a bit larger and heavier that the guys across the pond ;)
