Hi! All. Different people like different things! IMO This is the most beautiful and "cleanest" Daytona. It comes across as rather formal to be worn with a suit and informal at the same time to be worn with t- shirt and jeans. I don't like the newer versions with the black dial or black sub-dials or even the black bezel, yet as of today Sept 2022 the black sub-dials with black bezel is the most popular!!!! The black IMO takes away from the versatility of the watch and takes on a more sporty look, yet people would still justify it looks "good" with a suit!!!! It looks out of place, honestly. If you paid good money for it, heck why not wear it to a pajama party!!!!!

I like your point on liquidity. So do you know the delay if you want to sell it without dealing with a retailer right now? My concern is that only jeweler will buy your watch quickly, but you will loose money since jeweller will buy it at a price which is below market price.

I foresee 3-5 years the grey market being flooded and super saturated once this boom levels out and people move on to the next thing or trend. Then will see some good deals.

can anyone please tell me why some daytonas with arabic numerals and some without? is it because the ones with arabic numerals were only made during a certain period? thank you.
No simply different models with different dials. So many possible configuration: however one thing to note is that there are many Arabic dials which are “fake” what I mean by that is that the Arabic dial is not factory from rolex but aftermarket ☺️
Arabics almost always signify precious metal piece.
