Patrick Mahomes is still by far the best player in the NFL but he is not playing like it this season. Defense actually carrying him. The scary thing is though they still 4-0.
He's playing like this because he has a good defense. Just like he carried the defense when they weren't very good. He shows that he can make the plays when needed while also minimizing mistakes. Just score enough points to win. Don't try forcing a touchdown when you can get 3 points and rack up the score.
