If you want to use headphones someday I recommend you use some razer like the blackshark V2 or HyperX maybe, I use glasses and with the Blackshark V2 I can play for hours without pain
Some air buds because of the physical angle of them in your ears screw up the sound direction, so when you’re playing an FPS game the location of other players is not correct.
I completely agree that the Razer Hammer pro v2 should be number 1 in this list considering its prize and quality(got it for 13usd or 650php). I even got it registered in the Razer website. 11/10.

i have that sony earphone. For the song quality is very good. The bass is there but not so punching. For gaming like pubg mobile, I have some trouble to identified the gunshot and the steps location. The kinda crowded when they are too many sound come together. But the quality of this earphone is very good. Has been used it for 2 years and never had any problem

Mic is decent but as it is focused mostly on sound it is great for audio. Hope this helps you chose if you want to buy it. Overall I think for £20 it is worth it and is great as Gaming Earbuds

non of this are good for gaming these are just main stream brand good for nothing except for sony. You’ll need a wide soundstage and a really good imaging earbuds. Sound is subjective but this two is the most essential for a “gaming” headset. Also consider the Dac or your device and the audio software applied. Better look in a chifi market like trn, kz. Fiio, faaeal and other audiophile companies that provide this kind of tuning.
2 out of the 5 weren’t even gaming earbuds, the Shure and Sony’s are regular earbuds that aren’t fine tuned for gaming, the reason why gaming headphones are called gaming headphones is because their soundstage has been fine tuned to hear everything around you and to make sounds like gunshots more punchy
Not necessarily. Yes, some headsets and earbuds are like that out of the gate... but a lot of "gamer" gear is marketed that way because it's flashy and has a lot of unnecessary inclusions. The "non-gaming" earbuds recommended are on the list because they are good price point, high-end sound quality, and customizable. Like my headset I use isnt a "gaming" headset, but it's a great headset because of its stock soundstage and output.
i used a standard Huawei earbuds and can clearly hear footsteps in Cold War, so it shouldn't be a problem, and maybe way better for a gaming earbuds (as long as you are wearing it correctly)
I find that if the ear buds go straight in and not at an angle like some of them are designed, they are good for proper directional surround sound like you need in an FPS game. A good example of good ones are the Pioneer C3. I use those.
The razer Hammerhead has good sound but the mic placement is where it concerns me. Some of my teammates often hear me in an odd way. Good when you're listening music but not playing games
