Oh, I was so excited the new episode came out! Another great chapter in the story, even though those arrogant elves won. Looking forward to the next one. Your camerawork and sound effect really bring things to life! I've been played Age of Fantasy Skirmish with my mom over holiday, I printed her a 250 point team of Duchies of Vinci and I had a 250 point team of Saurians. To make things interesting, we played a modified version of ebb and flow for turns, essentially, we put slips of paper with each unit written on it in a bowl, then drew them randomly to see what unit moved. This was a nice bit or randomness that made you strategize against the possible unknowns. I liked the flow of the game so much I printed out game aids in color and glued cabachons to them to make little gem markers for next time we play.

That would be a really good way of playing a night engagement, where command and control falls apart and units are forced to manage the best they can, as they are able. Very cool.
Excellent game! We just ran our first AoFS last weekend, Saurians vs. Mummified Undead. Very close game, but the Saurians pulled off the win by 1 VP. Seems to me turn 2 is often the 'meat grinder' turn that makes or breaks the game. Subbed, can't wait for the next in the series.

Enjoyin the campaign very much and loving the format you're employing! Being a former WHFB Lizardman player, its sad to see the Saurians crumble so easily against them pish posh Elves, but I'm kinda rooting for Kalana to advance further in the campaign.
I would like to point out how terrifying my minds eye is making these bloody geckos. I can just see them hopping about like gorram raptors from Jurassic Park
It's gloss varnish over toilet paper. I used Marklin of Sweden's toilet paper water technique: ua-cam.com/video/2TwpB7sVMn8/v-deo.html The technique itself is great, but I had issues putting it on the foam tiles so I'll revisit the technique in the future.

Instead of green, the back is painted Vallejo Chocolate Brown, followed by Citadel Contrast Black Templar, leaving a small border of brown along the transition. Other than that, the process is practically the same.
A bit of a shameful display by everyone involved in this skirmish. The elves emerged victorious, but those Shadowbrothers whiffed it big time at the beginning of the battle. Elves are supposed to be good at this sneaking around in dense forests!
A fantastically brutal game! And yes, I agree. The elves were due for a lucky break at some point.
