- I bought a 1990 Mustang GT Foxbody while on vacation in Southern Florida! The car was sight-unseen and unfortunately the trip did NOT go as planned. Watch and find out what went wrong and when!

I did the same drive in my 02 jeep wrangler
i had a 1992 fox lx 5.o i used to make 1600 round trips all the time..till i wrecked it lol but at the time it was stock and new sooo now days i have a older 90 and i just drive around town and back have fun!!!!!!!

Man.. you got alot further than I thought.. but you put on about 750 miles ish..so my thought is the oil pump is probably bad.. which the seller knew and figured it was gonna cost him to much to fix it.. he got the""fox frustration mod..and sold it.. with a lift and the know how your gonna end up fixing it for cheap and your gonna have a really good driver..
If I didn't already have my notchback I would keep it!

@@redlinedyl yeah.. by the distance you got its not gonna be anything catastrophic.. it's probably got good internals.. but the builder probably used the stock original oil pump..

Fix the motor and turn it in to a road course, track day car!! Gut it, enjoy it!!!
It’s way too clean to turn into an all out race car. Whoever buys it once it’s 100% again is more than welcome lol

How much did it cost? just curious what the value is for cars like this.
Can be anything but most likely pump failed or oil galley plugs.

With that fuel mileage it may have been running super lean. I don’t come close to 20 mpgs in my 89.
AFR looked really good, never really noticed it leaning out.
They can get “decent” mileage when highway driven normally
@@redlinedyl I think the best I ever got was 12-13 mpg, unfortunately mine has a aod. 4.10’s sure don’t help either.
