Thanks so much for the honest review after almost a year of using the Getaway Bag and the Sidekick! Glad to hear it's still in the regular rotation (esp. given the selection you have at your disposal!). Always enjoy our chats -- with the IRL visit in California being a highlight. And thanks for the clarification in the description that the Getaway Bag does come with the lunch box + 2x stroller straps!
Congrats on your purchase! This is a great bag for sure and one of the best parent bags out there. Plus, you’re supporting a great group of people. In all my reviews, no matter how much I love a bag, there’s always room for little improvements. There’s no perfect pack :)
I agree, it doesn’t look like a parent bag, though without kids, not really my cup of tea. Looks to be well built and reasonably priced. Thanks for the thorough review.
I love the white insides because it acts as a highlight. Do wish the back panel had better ventilation, the buckles were magnetic for quicker access, and the webbing was stretchy. I’m still going to get the bag for my sister as a baby shower gift.
It’s a great choice for a parent bag! I especially loved the inside liner with the hand-drawn illustrations. Plus, you’d be supporting some great people who have put a lot of love and passion into this product.
Hey Chelsea, great question. That’s a Foulden Packing Cube from Trakke. Hand made in Scotland using dry finished waxed canvas and weather resistant zippers. They’re a little pricey, but I use these every time I travel. With proper care, they’ll last decades. Hope that helps. trakke.com/products/foulden-clamshell-packing-cubes?_pos=4&_sid=07d5fe5a2&_ss=r
Hi are you willing to sell the bag? Your video sold me on it and i noticed it is sold out and have the biggest anexiety traveling to europe without a bag in which i can organize everything
Hi Ina, I actually gifted mine to my sister. She has two boys now. Let me reach out to the folks at No Reception Club and see if there’s something we can do.

Funny how you mention all the things that could be improved, yet I don't think there could possibly be a better bag. I just bought mine today! 🎉

Thank you for your review!
My pleasure! I hope it helped.
Perfect choice
Who makes the yellow stuff sack/pack cube and do you know what size it is? Looks like a great fit within the bag!
