I use an acid brush to dip into the jar of powder paint and knock off the excess and then hold the head over the jar and tap the brush handle to shake a little powder off onto the head. You can slowly add more color a little at a time or you can also make your heads multi color with this technique (ie; white belly and green back) to give your heads a blended feathered color transition from one color to the other. make sure to use a spinnerbait swivel, not a swivel meant for simply keeping twists out of your line, way cleaner action.
