    Cutting copper pipe with a hacksaw is a complete no-no nowadays. Not only is a hacksaw not safe but it isn't very precise.
    The trusty plumber's pipe slice for copper tube/pipe will give you safe, perfect, accurate cuts every time. Simply choose the pipe slice that corresponds to the diameter of your pipe and follow the instructions in the video.
    These come in a range of sizes, but for most users, 15mm and 22mm will be all you will need when plumbing in kitchens and bathrooms.

    Mine isn't walking, but it scores and then twists endlessly without citting all the way through.

      Depending on which cutter you have, you either need a new wheel - blade - or you need to tighten the cutter on the pipe.

      @@buildingsheriff Its about identical to the one in this video. There's a slot in the back near the wheel about wide enough for a butter knife. But poking around didn't do anything. Wheel is about new. Eventually I pried the butter knife between the tool and the copper pipe and what seemed like 200 rotations later it finally broke through. If I figure out what's wrong with it I'll post back.
