Helix Steel: Cutting-Edge Concrete

Helix Steel created technology that is both stronger than traditional rebar concrete and less carbon- and labor-intensive to produce. With the help of a VentureWell E-Team Program grant, Helix Steel founder Luke Pinkerton was able to transform the manufacturing concept he developed in the lab at the University of Michigan into a revolutionary commercial product. Today, Helix Steel's product is used in a wide range of construction projects.
