    Great video. I often won't use large logs on the mill because of size restrictions, but maybe I'll start doing this. Subscribed

    An Alaskan mill would be a lot faster and easier

      It might be! I think my alaskan mill has a max cut depth of 13" though, and these were over 30" in diameter. Plus a ladder or guide rails on top if using an alaskan mill...

      @ScharrerWoodCo. yeah i wasn't thinking about quartering. I was envisioning taking a top cut, rotating 90° and repeating. Those big logs suck
