@@ljviks22you got a point there. A real good point. I don’t know about the “selling seats” part when a easy way to avoid that is the person really isn’t buying a seat, but buying time with him wherever he is going. So the seat isn’t being sold, it’s the mentoring and time that is. Flight just happens to be what he is doing that day. Either way, even though I still think the jet purchase is a bad idea, Meet Kevin clearly laid out his points, and with these ADDITIONAL points in the comment above, he most likely will come out on top. Even if we have a 2008 style recession (which is becoming more and more likely), he still might win in the end with the purchase, cause now he can real make deals for HouseHack if housing prices plummet.
Top 6 reasons: 1. Make lots of UA-cam content from it 2. Because you got some awful advice 3. Charge people $2900 per seat during a recession 4. Charge people $4900 per seat during a recession 5. Charge people $6900 per seat during a recession 6. Make a final video with a shocked face titled “how much money i LOST with my PP”
I like your content a lot. But I do question if working with single family houses is a business which actually does good for the society. I would vote for banning companies to play with single family houses overall. There are apartment buildings and commercial buildings to play with. Hotels. Flipping houses shouldn't be a game of huge corporations and buying and renting them out only limits people's options for housing
My concern is that PP was created bc you were underwater with your Tesla shares and those shares were your contribution to the ETF. Now you can displace some of those potential loses in an indirect way? 🤔
This is financial suicide in the making. This purchase is going to bankrupt Kevin. How the hell is he going to afford the interest loan, maintenance cost, and the $5000 per hour x 400 hours of flight time he said he estimates. He's looking at like 2.5 million dollars in annual expenses.
Reason number 1: Kevin really wanted a jet! All the rest is rationalizing. But it has got Kevin's creative juices going so good chance at the end of the day he'll make it work :-) I guess having a plane would be pretty handy for running for governor again too. And that wouldn't be so bad either. So I hope it works out as well as Kevin figures. So enjoy it Kevin! I just wonder if you've given some thought to the environmental toll, and how that can be mitigated.
How long until he goes bankrupt is the real question. primary investment is Tesla which is plummeting further down every day, yet hes buying a 13 million dollar jet. channel losing subscribers and ad revenue plummeting. 2023 is the year he runs out of money
Believe in yourself, Kevin. Hell, I believe in you and I don't even know you! Your energy and motivation are contagious. I'm at a comfortable point in my life, but you demonstrate the value of hard work, motivate me to look for oportunities everywhere, and inspire me to shoot for the moon. Your trajectory is clear and all boards are green.
The #1 issue you have when it comes to investing other people’s $$$ is you are not focused.. you have to many spinning plates at the same time. Only retail will fall for this
My husband and I both travel often for work, and being at home every night might not be appreciated by people who have never traveled to make something spin. It’s also extremely expensive and bad for your health bc you eat like crap. I can name 100 steps of the day that you lose time. Basically, Kevin is buying his time back, and saving on hotels and expenses. Most importantly, he is home with his children. Bravo for that, Kevin!
I get why he is getting the hate, but instead of shrinking, he is explaining. For those who want to get into his head, win or lose, he explains why he is doing it. Might not agree buying this when clearly a recession is about to hit (personally I would have waited a few months), but the saving time thing IS SUPER IMPORTANT. He runs 3 business, including a educational component for 2 of them, so this might be a very smart move.
I’m convinced that you are trying to convince yourself that this is a good investment. But I also think you personally are super smart and can accomplish anything you put your mind too. Good luck. join the mile high club!
My guess on the reason you bought the jet was so that you could make hundreds of videos talking about it. I feel like that goal is off to a good start. ;)
Kevin question???? Why not put a studio on the plane to do some morning filming on the plane. Two birds one stone? Or is internet not stable enough for filming?
Plenty of benefits to having a jet. I have known multiple local business owners here in Ventura, Oxnard, and Camarillo that purchased jets for their businesses. Does it make sense? It depends on the business I guess. I was talking to a coworker, that happens to live next door to Kevin, about the jet. Mentioned while it would be fun to spend time flying across the country to look at deals and watch Kevin do his thing, It only makes sense if I was looking to get into purchasing homes. Hey Kevin, If you ever want to take a quick flight up to Santa Barbara or down to San Diego and have lunch, I am all in. Providing its the standard $100 hamburger that most of my friends in the General Aviation community talk about.
@@MeetKevin Yes it is a small world. Just want you to know that you have subscribers here in the Ventura County area that follow you and think it is cool that you have been able to accomplish all that you have done in such a short time. Keep up the good work and enjoy that young family of yours. Also, have fun with the jet.
I think your right about the media business being the biggest risk. It is unclear as to how bad the UA-cam advertising and course sales will be impacted by a medium to bad recession
How would that be a scalable business if the ceo has to fly to every town to check personally on any potential investment? Sounds like wishful thinking to me.
3:00 Wow, that sounds so wrong. You've got tax writeoffs for buying/owning the plane. Of course this needs to be factored in when selling the plane again. So you're getting 2 Mil profit + Tax writeoffs = break even. That is actually a good thing because otherwise rich people would have another tax hole to avoid taxes
Look: 👀 People gotta stop default following everything someone else does and when they personally fail, blame the person they was following. Kevin is way ahead of me business and finance wise, but that don’t mean I agree with everything he does. I could be right or wrong. If I follow exactly what he does and fail, I’m not gonna hit the comment section and drag him out, I’m gonna take personal responsibility for not researching the move. Take responsibility for your own actions. I’ve been watching Kevin for over 4 years (you can see it on my openly available playlists), and as far as I’m concerned he is the real deal. And it’s the reason why, after 3 years of watching him and checking on what he says, I bought the courses… and plan on buying a couple more (as expensive as it is 😩😂 )
Why don't you just have someone else fly there. Then when they get there, have them set up virtual call with you so you can direct them to show you what you need to see?
@@MeetKevin Well, I do find it hard for myself to trust someone to get stuff done like I want it done. But it seems inefficient for you fly a private jet to every prospect.
