I'd say a bit of both... $120 for being 50kph is on the low side. Australia, do the same thing, and the vehicle will be crushed if you own the vehicle, otherwise it will be impounded and returned back to the owner.
@@joeswansen740 tbh should be grateful for the cops we have cause I swear the police overseas are just another story happy our cops turn to taser first then a gun.
The fish truck should of been stopped the first time, and its contents pumped into a sealed unit, that's just very cowboy, new Zealands big problem, cowboyitus , shell be right mate, sweat as bro, nope it ain't, do it properly do it once no come backs
Jake the Muss at 10:00 and Junior Jake at 03:30 help New Zealand's reputation immensely with empty threats and muscular language. In the second half Beanie Boy (gees they all look like they need hosing down before handling) shows the world he is a big tough jelly, all gob that one - as were the two Jakes. I spotted the expression on one fit and experienced policeman which reminded me of days long gone. Backwards and forwards from room to room in the police station, with reinforced doors and metal door jambs, was the perfect opportunity to test their condition by slamming them on the head of dopes who don't use or need a brain. ... "injury sustained in his cell while alone and inebriated".
Naaw i had a car like that years ago, it was red i know how he feels, minee was stolen...but i suggest corbin you get your licence and keep it if you want to keep your baby.....
Seems to me that punishments in Oz are light compared to the UK. Paltry fines. In the UK, caught over the DD limit? Refuse to give a breath or blood sample? 1 year disqualification automatically. Defective vehicle / no licence / no insurance, vehicle taken..
Light fines, definitely. Incidentally, many uninsured / faulty / unlicensed cars in the UK are often involved in other crimes, and we are all glad when they are seized.
$ 600 for being massively drunk, tiny community order for 3rd time driving without a license? Wow, NZ is weak when it comes to road safety. Around here in the Netherlands, drunk driving is a € 750 fine and a mandatory three day € 1000 alcohol driver course that's only given during office hours. 2nd time disqualified driving is € 400 and one week suspended prison sentence, meaning the 3rd time disqualified driving the vehicle is seized by the state and sold, while they go to prison for three weeks as well. (2 weeks + 1 week of the earlier conditional). 4th offense is three weeks in prison plus a big fine. 5th offense is 4 weeks in prison plus a bigger fine, with vehicles being confiscated and sold each time. And that's pretty weak even if you ask me. Disqualified driving should be seizing the vehicle first time, with the 2nd time resulting in at least two weeks in prison, 3rd offense two months, 4th offense a year in prison and so on.
Something was fishy about that truck. 😏 I guess the other Truck driver carrying human waste was really in the shit when he got busted The young guy who looks like a rejected brain cell put his heart and soul into his car I bet he doesn’t put his heart and soul in getting a job.
The truck fishtailed lol
he launched that bic lighter like a baseball pitcher pro
I didn't know there were so many fish related puns.
Just a drop in the ocean :p
Either kiwis get away with everything, or aussies are way too over policed and over charged for infringements.
Andrew Fountain just commonsense more than anything
Our cops are just pussies

Let’s hope his gw is right, after going over the scales.
Sooo.. Did Corbin get his car back or what?
You'd think if you didn't have a licence and were disqualified you wouldn't draw attention to yourself by speeding !!!
I'm just wondering what that car is at 1:30
Looks like a mid 90's Toyota Curren

The seppo style editing on these shows is nauseating. Police 10/7 did it better.
Terrible Terrible accent
The truck spilled its load because an incompetent policeman didn't do his job!
