My friend keeps saying Huzzah in public, and I keep telling her not to say it unless you're at the renaissance. Now I have to show this to her and apologise.
Fun fact: the first time I used a shot glass was to hold maple syrup for my french toast sticks. I was probably 6 and I just thought it was a cool special glass for syrup.

John, you look eerily like a white Neil DeGrasse Tyson with that mustache. Also, make a drink called the "Chibi John" which is pink lemonade and rum with a slice of a gala apple in the shape of a mustache on the side. :D
That hug they share at the beginning is so heartwarming that I have on multiple occasions come back to this video just to watch it and make myself feel better.

PIZZAMAS!!!! ONE OF MY FAVORITE TIMES OF THE YEAR
ALRIGHT. Stick with me on this but it's going to be grrrrrreat. The ending is the most important part.
Pizza John Shot.
-Vodka (tomato flavored if you can find it)
-Bloody mary mix (if you can't find tomato vodka)
-1 tsp oregano
-1 tsp of salt
-2 tsp of black pepper
-1 crushed cloves of garlic
-1 tsp of sugar
-A nice piece of cheesy bread (sourdough or baguette preferred)
-Self adhesive fake mustache
Optional
-An empty Tea bag
-Shredded Parmesan cheese
Heat the vodka on a stove with a really really really low flame. Heat up the vodka for 5 minutes or so. It should not boil. Just get it nice and warm.
Add in the herbs (in the tea bag if you have it), and turn off the flame. Let it steep for 20 minutes.
While you're waiting take your shot glass and melt shredded Parmesan cheese around the rim (you don't have to do this. But I tried it, it was good) and heat up the cheesy bread.
Once it is done steeping, you can chill the vodka, or just drink it warm. I can't tell which is better.
Once you decide, go ahead and stick the self adhesive fake mustache to the bottom of the shot glass.
Pour in 3/4 Pizza Vodka tea, 1/4 bloody mary mix. Drink it and chase it with the cheesy bread.
When you lift the cup to your face, the mustache should line up just right so you look like a pizza John.

All of these shot suggestions are so creative--Nerdfighteria never ceases to impress me. I also love the number of people who are suggesting alcohol optional drinks, so nerdfighters of all ages and preferences can enjoy!
The problem is that every year the mustache looks better and better on John every year.

Here is my Pizzamas shot suggestion:
1. Get a Papa Johns pizza slice (it must be from Papa Johns)
2. Place the slice into a blender with 5tbs of vodka.
2.Pour mixture into Pizza John shot glass and drink in under 5 seconds.

2 Part - Tomato juice
1 Part - Vodka
1 teaspoon brine from a jar of pepperoncini
1 pinch of dried oregano
Follow with Basil leaf chaser
You may also rim the glass with olive oil and Parmesan cheese if you are a rebel.

Pizzamas Shot Recipes: (should pair well with the pizza)
Alcoholic:
- Equal parts whisky & Diet Dr. Pepper, 1/3 of that amount of grenadine. Shake w/ ice.
- Equal parts vodka, triple sec and Pamplemousee La Croix. Shake w/ ice.
Non-alcoholic:
- Equal parts sparkling lemonade and ice tea, add a dash of lime juice. Shake w/ ice.
- Muddle blackberries & fresh mint leaves in your shaker. Add ice, and equal parts pomegranate juice & tonic water. Shake & be sure to strain while pouring into pizzamas shot glass.

Pizzamas cocktail: Put one slice of pepperoni in the bottom of the pizza John shot glass. Mix wodka and tomato juice. Pour in shotglass. Add cheese if you're brave.

Mix absinthe (to represent the John GREEN part of the cocktail) with pineapple juice (to represent the pizza part because pineapple on pizza IS A MUST). Add a bit of champagne for metaphoric value, mix it all with ongoing existential crises and serve with some ice.
PS! Excessive consumption may make you think that John's mustache is a good idea :)

juice of half a lemon
3 dashes Tabasco sauce

Place mustache and googly eyes on pizza slice and Skewer the slice. Think of it like a Pizza John Umbrella on your Bloody Pizza John Mixed Drink.

Pizza John Cocktail 🍕 🍸 :
1.5 oz Vodka
2 oz tomato juice
3 pepperoni slices
3 fresh basil leaves
Splash Diet Dr Pepper
Whipped cream
Ricotta cheese
Parmesan, oregano, and hot pepper flakes
Pepperoni and olive for garnish
Muddle together basil leaves and pepperoni slices. Add vodka, tomato juice and ice, shake well and strain into a martini glass. Add splash Diet Dr. Pepper on top. In a separate bowl whip together whipped cream and ricotta cheese until smooth, then spoon on top to create a thin layer of foam. Sprinkle lightly with Parmesan, oregano, and hot pepper flakes to taste. Add an olive and pepperoni for garnish 🌿
NOTE: for non-alcoholic version, replace vodka with carrot juice 🥕

• 1.5 parts Bakon Vodka
• 1 part tomato juice
• 1 part pinapple juice
dash of salt and oregano
Tastes just like a slice of Hawaiian style pizza.
Garnish with a twist of pepperoni.
My aunt and uncle now celebrate Thanksgiving by staying in and eating pizza, since kids and cousins have dispersed around the country. I don't think they know about pizzamas, but.......

Pizza John
1.5 Oz pepper vodka (alton brown has a great recipe for this)
3 Oz mix
2 tbsp grated parmigiano
Thin crisp bread stick for garnish.
Large pepperoni for garnish.
Mix:
1L Tomato juice
4 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Oregano
1 tsp red pepper flakes
3 Dashes Worcestershire sauce.
Rim Collins glass with parmigiano.
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass. Shake with ice and strain into a collins glass filled with ice. Fan pepperoni on bread stick for garnish. (Skip vodka if you want it alcohol free).
