- The all new KTM RC200 finally gets a proper upgrade with a new aerodynamic design, bigger airbox and lighter components to help it go faster. And despite the updates, the price has stayed the same at Rs. 2.08L Exshowroom to help it take the fight to the Yamaha R15V4 head on! Hey man... Idk about you but I'll definitely take the functional design over an asthetic one for this motorcycle...
I respect your preference... but in my opinion a sports bike can always use more downforce and grip... especially while the brakes and the frame is so good.

I was one of those who called this ugly back when we saw spied image!
now two days back when I saw it on KTM India's channel with akra muffler, no license plate holder, without mirrors it just looked so good to me that now I'm planning this instead of r15v4 which I had thought of

Sarge 😍 you are here sooner than expected. Its a treat to watch your reviews man. So staggeringly detailed. I won't complain about the design until i see one in flesh. And as far as competitors like Honda & Yamaha don't give a damn about a quarter litre performance bike for India, KTM s are gonna Thrive regardless of all the disputes.

I believed new RC is an ugly one. Just with some additional fancy stuffs..
But after watching this review, I feel some love towards this machine.

The look would grow on people sooner or later. What tyres would you recommend to with the RC and what would a size upgrade be useful?
Almost all tyres on the market can be an upgrade from the mrfs and no, the stock tyre size is the best size for all motorcycles
Hands down Metzler M7, used to come with the first gen BS3 RC390, KTM wasn't that much aware of Indian riding conditions back then so they literally used to put some track tyres on it, I owned a BS3 RC390 from 2015 and trust me the grip on these tyres are unmatched, they heats up quick and doesn't lose traction on corners even if you're breaking, the only con is that they last short, 15k km was the best I got. Later KTM replaced them with M5s and now it comes with MRF C1s, those you'll get on this exact bike.
Design looks good only downside is absence of belly pan...
otherwise it would be perfect 🔥

4:20 the rear wheel is bouncing mid corner. Is this usual or due to the softer suspension.
It's because of the lip of the tyre which squats as you lean all the way over

Hello, I have just learned how to ride a bike. Now i am looking for a sports bike which has around 200 cc. I won't drive it faster than 80kmph so i don't care much about the top speed. But i want a sporty feel in it. But i am confused. Can you pls suggest me which bike would be a good option, which has a great handling and is comfortable for city rides?
It's still amazing how KTM went from an obscure maker of dirt bikes, to a mainstream motorcycle company in such a short time. Then getting into the Indian market really worked out well. Now there turning out great looking, modern bikes for dirt cheap.
Their partnership with Bajaj has worked great for both parties
The design really grew on me , also considering the fact that this is a much more improved version, and coupling that with your review is always a treat Sarge! The best !

Bro I am little confused about buying my second bike I have pulsar 150. I want to go for long drives .so ,help me to pick the right bike rc 200 or Gixxer sf250 I am so much confused . I have ridden my brother's ns200 man it's acceleration and pick up wants me to go for rc but after seeing your sf 250 video my thoughts leaning towards it. I want a fun motorcycle and I can tour on it what's ur choice rc 200 or Gixxer sf250?.

Love the cinematic shots and the overall production quality. I would love some more drone shots. Is it possible to buy these new wheels and have better handling on the old RC?
I think so
To transplant the front wheel, you would at least have to change the fork tubes as well but if they are not compatible with the older model outer tubes then you need to change the complete front shock absorbers. Look at the new axle. It is of a larger diameter and hollow. That means the wheel uses larger bearings too. I estimate a cost of about 20k for the fork, 6k for the wheel, 2.5k for the disc and axle. So you should be able to manage the front transplant in about 30k.
For the rear, you need the wheel, disc, rear sprocket and the coupling assembly. Should be manageable under 10k.

Hey Sarge, I was really fixated on this one specifically for the looks, but the gixxer sf 250 provides much better value and comfort with less features. Which one do you think is apt for me as beginner ? Also how I know its a different category bike but how does the honda cb 350rs perform......since nowadays many ppl are moving from sports bikes to much more relaxed bikes.

You are better off comparing the duke 200 and the rtr200
Sarge, have they changed gear ratio with this one? It was pretty easy to hit revlimiter in top gear on a very short stretch previously, the top gear was very short.. RS200 & R15 had better top speed than RC200 though it made most power.
