Wow, what a lovely idea for a video! So many great editions in this one, I've learnt of quite a few that look interesting to me. It's too hard to pick a favorite. (Sadly, my christmas budget is already spent this year, but I'll definitely come back to this video for reference in the future!)

Do you buy these books for yourself or kids and how did you come to collect so many? anyways love this
Thanks! It’s a bit of both really. I come from a family of readers, so we have a fairly eclectic book collection going around here. A few years ago I decided to focus our book “collection” mainly on books that are physically special in some way - fancy bindings, illustrated endpapers, hidden covers, paper engineering - some element that can’t be replicated by ebooks I guess. Have to love the actual content as well though! 😉 Do you collect any particular type of book?
I started a collection similar to yours, but sadly i dont have the space so i just have to look online.. you have restarted a want in me, but i know i have no space :-( .. do you have any dedicated edmund dulac collection books, i saw it on amazon,i'd love to see a flip through if you happen to
Space is such an issue, isn't it (not to mention finances, ahhhhh). I do have quite a few Edmund Dulac books - his artwork is gorgeous, and I'm a particular fan of his fairy tale illustrations. I'll add a review of them to my video planning list :) Are you more interested in seeing vintage books (fun for a second hand hunt), or more recent productions (e.g. Calla do some quite reasonable facsimiles)? There are also a couple of books that just reproduce the artwork only, but I find they although they are pretty, they are not as much fun to read as seeing the artwork in the context of the story for which it was written, and also often the art reproduction is fairly pixellated, since they are copies of copies of illustrations. The best facsimile works are the ones where they have been able to source the original artwork (which is often what Folio Society do), or have at least obtained a good copy of a first edition so you're only a little removed from the original colouring.
I guess a compilation is fine or whatever has the most pictures of his work.
