Just copped the Laker colourway. Loving the fit and grip so far, not quite as comfy as 7s full length air max but feels more performance orientated.
Is Nike trying to increase foot injuries this year? They went full maximalist in the designs without the support features.

Air Max unit in heal makes my aging knees and feet not hurting for minutes of playing basketball and post play. I believe Air Max has more impact protection especially to heel striker, big and heavy guy like me.
You're 100 % correct. Even the air max 90's I have makes such a difference on the comfort for my knees and heels

the witness 4 is still the best in the witness line
I honestly hate how Nikes are getting expensive but not getting better. No wonder more and more ballers are switching to Anta and Li-Ning. If it weren't for the marketing, nobody would even touch their products. I'm satisfied with my LeBron 20's though, but it's really ridiculously expensive for the performance that it offers.

The waffle pattern reminds me of the traction on the Soldier 2. The zig zag pattern looks like the Zoom Generation's pattern. Seems like they drew inspiration from those models. Not sure why you would assume they won't perform well on first look.
