Youre a lifesaver! On holiday and the oven is electric and ive only ever used a gas oven.
I am trying to understand how it works, read the instraction a lot of times and still it is not clear for me. When I set up the end time and the temperature light is switched off at the end of the set time does this mean that the oven is off although the inside light is still on? I think it is still working and if I leave the food for longer time it might be burnt.
Do you have to leave door open if you use fan-grill function? Sorry if a stupid question.
It isn't a stupid question. You don't have to leave the door open since this will let out the heat and by keeping it shut you will help circulate the heat evenly inside.

I need help! I have a Bosch Oven HBA574BS0A The manual shows to cook a meat pie with a fan and lower heat (squiggly line) but my oven does not have that setting. so I do not know what the best setting would be. I cooked a pie the pastry pastry on top was great but the bottom still appeared uncooked. Very disappointing.
Just had the same experience, never happened with other ovens that I had before.

What is the best setting for scones. I have been following recipe instructions, but scones don't cook or brown in the time recommended. I've tried cooking 5-10 minutes longer but that doesn't help much. The same thing happens with cakes etc. The setting I have been using is the sixth one going round the dial clockwise. Any help would be much appreciated.

The 250 corresponds to 250 degrees celsius in oven mode and the I, II and III are when it is in grill mode.
I bay same this oven .not good for cake .cook from up and dawn. Inside not cook well .All oven have separate Buttons. Bosh not good oven .

If you turn all the nobs to the 12 o'clock position then the oven will be off. If you mean off from the mains, then you will need to locate the oven switch / power point located in your property.

Marina, you don't have to use a timer if you don't need to and are good at time keeping. By using a timer it can alert you so that you don't overcook your food. This is completely your choice though. We advise a timer since a lot of us can be distracted and forget how long something has been cooking for.

Hi Pat, thank you. The buttons are touch sensitive and do work. The only thing i can think of is that you have locked them which is why they aren't working. Have a look at the manual to see how to 'unlock the buttons'.

How much time it will take for pizza and heat
Each pizza will have a temperature and cooking time on the box when you buy it. When it says cooking with fan oven then select the time it says and the temperature. Pizza cooking time will vary depending on whether it is fresh or frozen and the thickness of the base. Please read the cooking instructions on the food you buy to make sure you select the correct temperature and cooking time.

Hi can you turn on the light whilst using one of the other functions please?
When the oven is in use, the light automatically comes on so that you can see what is happening to your food.
How can you change the alarm volume or make it last longer?
The alarms is set at a standard level and time by the manufacturer and there is not way to change this. I hope that answers your question. Thank you.
How do you set the time on it
Push the middle button between the '-' and '+' till a clock icon comes up , then press the '-' or '+' button to change the time. Then press the middle button again and the time will be set.
Do you know by any chance how can I put the volume up for the timer? I never seem to hear it when it ends...
Sorry Delia, but there is no way to increase the timer volume on the appliance.
