Me too! I use a (semi) color gloss to soften the white / gray now, but I also used to get highlights ALL THE TIME! Does your regrowth feel silky smooth and healthy now too?

I think a darker root color (maybe Adore copper brown with the Cajun spice mixed in) would look better, but she is rocking that new color! I am happy to see her using a microfiber twisty towel too.

It would be cool for you to react to wig/lace front bleaching videos. There aren't a lot of fails because... I imagine if people do they just throw away the wig lol... But you can educate us on why those techniques would not work on hair attached to the head. . and possibly give some tips to better bleach/dye wigsg

She committed the exact same mistakes I did. Bleach (albeit no ammonia) + 40v + going blonde yellow. The copper/ginger color would be gone after 15 days at most. I did a color transition to start over.
I went back to copper/ginger with a highlift color + the copper color I wanted + 30v. My hair doesn't accept bleach and the no ammonia bleach I used before was discontinued.

Honestly after bleaching my very dark hair with 10 volume and watching a lot of videos now with 10 or even 7 volume that’s likely all I will ever use again. If you have dark hair you will always have to do it multiple times if you want a lot of lift and the lower volume makes that safer. Because I go from a level 4 dark brown to a level 7 red I’m not looking for a ton of lift and the 10 volume does perfect for me.
Love this comment! So many people don’t realize what they can achieve with lower volume developer. Like you’re able to get a 3 to 4 shade lift using ten volume. My hair takes to bleach really well I am able to get like seven volumes of lift using a 7 volume bleach. This just shows that lower volume bleach is an option for so many people and they don’t realize it. Wish more people would do this, too!

I started watching your channel last night and have learned the following:
"DO NOT change your hair color by yourself"
"Do NOT cut your own hair after the color didn't become the color you wanted", and
"DO pay a professional to change your color or make any corrections."
When the pandemic was going on, and I worked from home, I did maintain my pixie cut by myself, going very slowly when cutting the length and keeping calm because if I cut too much, I could stop and know it would grow out. I had hair-cutting scissors, too, as I know that dull scissors never did anyone any good.
Would I ever cut my own hair again? Probably not.
Will I ever color my hair myself? NEVER, NEVER, NEVER? :-D

I think it would have look amazing in reversed order. The darker copper at the roots. And the lighter color at the tips. Def beautiful colors though. Some of my favorites.
Such a good tip about using the underlying colors thanks for thank hair Buddha. I tried to do navy blue on a extremely light 613 wig but it looked way too lite, so when I added brown to the royal blue mix it made the perfect dark color
It looked better before she started....she looked cute with it natural. That orange hair doesn't compliment her skin color.

Advice? I'm growing out my greys. Natural haircolor is about a level 3 dark brown / black. The greys are bright white. Always been self conscious about it so covered it with dye matching my natural color. Sometimes at home and sometimes at the salon. Now that I see the kids trying to go grey, I'm not as bothered by it.
1) I have two streaks about 1" wide framing my face that are bright white. Wondering if a semi perm fantasy color would take to the white? Something like manic panic rockabilly blue, purple or bright green.
2) if I don't like it, can it be removed, or covered with my usual dark brown dye?

As always ,another great video...I'm letting my hair be it's true color...I've died and bleached it a lot during the pandemic that I had to cut off 6 inches....after my last cut I'm 90% to my dark natural blonde...😻
I have dark hair and have been bleaching my hair at the salon with Wella Blondor with good results for years. I only allow the professionals to do it. I realize that not everyone can afford to go to the salon but I would be terrified to do it myself. And, my stylist uses 30 volume peroxide which gives me a nice shade of blonde.

Hi! I really hope you see this bc I don’t know what else to do. I’m trying to go copper. The underneath of my hair was bleached white and tone. I pre pigmented like yoj suggested in your video with 7r wella and 10 vol. then I used 6rg and 6 r wella with 10 vol and it turned pink. Then I did it again with 20 vol and it’s still pink, what do I do??? My birthday is in a few days and I don’t want to feel so ugly 😭😭

I bleach my hair from basically a level two to a nice light coppery orange myself and it’s very easy actually. Her texture is a little bit coarser than mine, but all I do is use Blonde Me bleach and then go over it with a direct dye, (the same one in the video) and it turns out how I want every single time. for reference, I use a 7 volume on the back two sections of my head and I use 20 volume on the front two seconds of my head just because of the time it takes me to apply my bleach.

I have a question. If you just put a developer on your hair without bleach. Will it lighten your hair? I have red hair but would like it to be more of a ginger/copper color. Would that work or do I need to actually bleach it?

There are some girls on here who give tutorials on some really beautiful wigs and keep the hair natural. She changes the hair 3-5 times a day. I’d say research those options too. You spend so long growing out curly hair and then to put ammonia on it. I don’t know…
Not everyone likes wigs even they are %100 human hair . I can’t even stand wearing hats can’t imagine having a wig for hours .

I didnt do my hair since. 10 month later i did to do it.i have No money i buy stuff do do it i had medium on my regrow ans i had blond in my lead.i saw your vidéo and you teach how to do it but its takes time and patience. I bleach my lead 2 times. My haïr was orange and yellow. I didnt love my haïr so i put the the tirer at 30 minutes. My hair was pâle yellow and the Brown.i décide to bleach again my lead but with 10 volume. My hair was ok and i apply blonde me de schwarzkopf the color t ice. This color is so amazing. I refer for all the person Who wants blond ice. ..with his advices you should have this color

I have a question, I tried to look it up, but I'm not finding the answer. I have grown my hair out for years, and it is finally all natural. No color has been added and no bleach. My question is: if it is all natural.. can you still get hot roots or is that only if there's previous work that's been done?
I have fine medium brown hair.
You will still have hot roots because the heat from your scalp will accelerate the bleach.
