Gpu bottleneck
Thank you for the benchmarks! For my understanding 2133 and 3200 makes very negligible difference then. I have a ryzen 2600x, and 3200 frequency RAM, but it runs at 2133. I tried setting to 3200 but it doesn't boot. So best to avoid stability issues for such minor improvement.
same problem with my ryzen 5 2600x. tried to overclock it to 3200mhz but it doesn't work. only 1600mhz tho
@@Random-mt4jt if it says it runs at 1600mhz in task manager that means that it runs at 3200mhz. ddr4 standard speed is 2133mhz it cant be 1600mhz. i had also that bug that it displayed half the speed it runs in reallty
ryzen 5 2600 compatible with ram 3200mhz without OC ?? because i see in website 2994 mhz max
What OC means? I kind of having a dilemma whether I would buy a 3200mhz ram for a ryzen 5 2600 processor.
@@edisonmartin6189 every ddr4 ram stick is automatically set to 2133mhz and you have to enable DOCP in your bios to get your performance and speed
@@edisonmartin6189 OC means overclock
Xmp on
gpu 100% - test the video card, not RAM
Thats the point. It is a test for low end gpu. Its a prove that Ryzen with low end gpu does not need fast RAM
No one will buy Ryzen 5 2600 with cheap shit like GTX 1050. This config is ridiculous. If consumer has a low budget it's better buy Ryzen 2400G. Than scratch up to discrete graphics like GTX 1660. Or used GTX 1060.
@@Audiomaniac84 lmao, what a bout now? Anyone wanna buy a used 1070 for 400€?
@@Audiomaniac84 2400g is trash
litterally by current setup, 1050 ti oc with ryzen 5 2600 works fine, stop hating, nothing wrong with having room to upgrade, oh and 3600 mhz ram running at 2993 lol@@Audiomaniac84
I have the same problem you are having with your GPU (in the CS:GO clip) (I know this is not what this vid is about). Was wondering if you know what is causing that. I have a 1070 instead of a 1050 btw.
Nice
Thanks for this video. Im using 3200 MHz mem with my r5 2600
How did you get it to go all the way to 3200
@@Chrixssaidit xmp
@UA-cam Account same problem... with B350 i can run 2999, but with B450 can't higher then 2700. My ram geil 3600.
Man yt is throttling your video. Wont even let me watch some of them. Or maybe im worng. Not even at 144p will it play properly
Works fine now!
No man its still buffering even when i drop the quality to 144p.
I think youtube is blocking ypur channel in some way. Other videos of your give me errors and wont play.
I dont see that kind of issue.........
sorry for late anwser but you need to use the software to remove all amd driver and reinstall, or even reinstall windows i'm sorry x) It should work very smoothly because like it should work on cpu without the gpu its only a fcking video ^^ no matter the browser, then try to see if you can change the hardware acceleration... Because for me it was the same like wtf, and now its sooo smoth omg
@@vostfrguys my man thanks for a reply. i have reformated this machine multiple times.
sir I have a question, can the ryzen 5 2600 reach 3200 mhz because in the specifications of the official page it says that it can only up to 2994 mhz
Ryzen 5 2600 is able to run even at 4000MHz (with high voltage). Anyway every R5 2600 can boost to 3.9 with stock settings (auto turbo boost).
@@GameER how do you do that bc I’m getting my pc and have ryzen 2600 but I’m scared I won’t get all the 3200mhz out of my ram
@@Chrixssaidit You will not be able to get 3200MHz on every stick. Go as high as it is stable. For R5 2600 - 3200MHz is optimal on RAM. 3600MHz is optimal for ZEN2 with much better memory controller.
@@GameER so my Teamgroup Tforce Dark Za 2x8gb 3200mhz will work fine with xmp on with a ryzen 5 2600 and a b450m mobo?
@@justayoutubeuser8652 Of course.
seems like it does not affect anything at all... so is it worth to buy the 3200? :/
There is a difference but it is small. With hi end gpu the difference should be bigger
A faster memory helps sometimes depending on what applications/games you run. Get significant performance upgrade for some cases and tiny effect most of the time.
Most importantly value depends on local memory prices. When the memory price range here for 16GB is 85€(2133)->90€ (3000)-> 100€(3200) ->125€(3600) .
You can see that price jump from 2133->3000 is so insignificant that all choices below 3000 are bad ones. A reasonable recommendation is find out first the price of cheap ram you could get to your system and THEN check how much you could upgrade the frequency before price difference to cheapest begins to matter, and more expensive the CPU upgrade to next tier is higher the acceptable price is.
It does effect
On some games u can get 10 fps more
