I’ve been through parts of Montana, bits of the Dakotas, northern Idaho, and of course , Washington state, rural Oregon and also California. So much to see in this gorgeous landscape. I just drove through Virginia (down 77) to visit my mom in NC (I'm from Ohio) and it is one of the most beautiful states I've ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing your road trips ❤
Quite the adventure I Noticed the small clip on your Instagram and well the whole hoping brushing teeth thing looks like ritual morning exercise doing multiple things at once ;) one thing I used to love when I would head into the backwoods is the sound of the river and being away from and unnatural people noises, after a week maybe a little less I would start to hear the voices ,could be my mind trying to figure out things the constant river noise or what I wanted to believe is that it is actually me adjusting to the nature spirits all around me, that they were whispering like I am overhearing conversations amongst themselves. Later on I would start to connect with them, notice the many little things and sometimes big things that I never noticed before. this is how I learned to connect almost immediately no matter where I am, even now that I am decades older ;). it isn't too often to see foxglove growing in the wild, I love those flowers and watching the bees disappearing then reappearing from them doing their job to balance nature. Much of the drone footage looks like the province I live in, British Columbia, go from trees to fewer trees more wild grasses snow capped mountains.

It calls to my heart seeing land I used to call home. I need to get back up there soon. I'm in NC. So, not as long as a truck for me, but difficult in this economy. An amazing person taught me how to look into what I see and I was amazed at my power of observation, I saw so far ahead of myself that I am, I was looking back at me.
What beautiful footage! Montana is one of my favourite states as well - I live in the province directly north of it, and when I road trip down south through the states, the trees and Rockies always make me feel like I’m coming home. I hope one day to road trip out east and see the gorgeous northeast states your drone captures in these videos :)
The power of familiar, remember the spirit that moved you, now this can be anywhere, any baloney, staring up at any basement window because its all you can do so fill your head with unfamiliar because when you don’t have your head you will have your memories and from those memories you will rebuild familiar.
Every time your videos come across my dash and you mention growing up in the DMV I'm reminded of the time my mom set up a playdate for me with another blonde little girl with my same name, spelled differently (I'm an Annabelle, she was an Annabel), and I wonder if maybe she grew up to be you.
