We found that my kids didn’t enjoy earth science but kept asking questions on local weather events so we’ve studied earth science!!! I need my kids to use science from a biblical worldview!!! We’ve used masterbooks middle school science and not found much hard to get!!! The audio version sounds awesome!!! Nothing wrong with video experiments when it can’t be done!!!
"oh, but I wanna eat too. . ." 😂 Hahaha yes!!! I LOVE audio versions for that reason!! We use apologia as well and we love it. We're doing astronomy this year
I would like your thoughts on Sonlight language arts. We have levels 1-4 but I wasn’t able to implement them except for the readers & comprehension questions. We are using Sonlight HBL PK, A, & C this year.
Thanks for the flip through, we haven’t don’t any science this year and I’ve been thinking about this one. Is the notebook you showed the junior, or for the older kids?
Thanks so much for this video! We’re looking for a science curriculum for my 1st grader for this fall and I really like how Apologia looks. Do you think Earth Science is too difficult for 1st grade?
I've heard botany and astronomy are good ones to start with. We're doing astronomy this year and I have a 2nd grader, but my 3 year old likes to join us as well! Mostly for the experiments ☺️

I haven’t looked into Masterbooks for science!

I liked the astronomy one!
Thank you so much for this!

I can do a video on that eventually. This is our first year with their LA so I’m still acclimating!
I am also a 100% pro video experiments when the day has been rough

That’s the regular, not the Junior.

Not too difficult but there are easier levels that I would try first unless you want to do earth science for a particular reason!
@@MommaonMissionwhat would be the easier levels?
@@Fannytesy zoology 1, 2, or 3 I think are easiest
Have you ever compared any of the Sonlight elementary sciences to Apologia? Just curious. They both look good.
I haven’t tried Sonlight science at all.
Doing experiments with friends is the only way we get them done lol
I understand that!
Is there a booklist included? Thanks
I don’t think they include a book list.
Thanks for showing this! I’ll have a kindergartner next year. In your opinion which one do you think would be best to start with?

@@Jolene03 thank you!
I think astronomy is a good early one. We did it later just because of our co-op but it was a little more basic.
Do I really need the notebooking journal?
No. It makes it more hands-on but you can still get a lot out of it with just the text.
