Love Apologia Science! I used it for high school when I was homeschooled and totally plan on using it for my kids in the next couple of years. I did their Anatomy & Physiology and my first year of that subject in nursing school was pretty much just a review for me as a consequence. :)
Blue Planet is also available on DVD. It is one of several fascinating David Attenborough series. We also love Frozen Planet, and Africa. But definitely not from a creation view-point.
I appreciate this! I am getting ready to do Swimming Creatures with my 2nd and 4th grader. I definitely want to get that DK ocean book and the lab kit.
I don't think you HAVE to if you have a child that really wants to do ocean. We started with Flying Creatures, but there's nothing that says you need to do them in order.
In my country those journals are $70 plus shipping 😬😱 the text books are astronomically expensive. I would love to use this curriculum but it's so far out of my budget 😭
My girls choose this ( out of order ) so we went for it . I got my stuff at marketplace for a lot less ( even got brand new journals) the seller choose not to use the curriculum after purchasing it
What is your favorite science curriculum?
The ocean box is such a cute idea! Is that in the apologia workbook or something I need to remember when we do it?

Thank you for you sharing! Do you recommend starting with Flying Creatures?

Where would you recommend ordering the lab kit through?
Apologia, Home science tools, or ChristianBook.com is where I get mine!
