Really love the tones of the film. The contrast is perfect. As fine as the grain is, it’s still really filmic. Definitely going to order a few rolls to try.
Great review, Hashem. Definitely keen to give it a try after seeing your results and very interested to see how it renders in 35mm too. I love how noticeable your comfort and experience has become for in front of camera scenes, keep at it, man.
I really like this film. Oddly it reminds me of the Leica M8 black and white jpgs. I really like how much range there is in the grayscale. Excited to try this and the Berlin Kino to see what I prefer more.
Thanks for this. Your video is great. Lots of info, relaxed pace, great production values. I’ve been using some Double-X from Cinestill in my Rolleicord and finding it to be superb. HP5+ is not quite giving the rich look that I prefer. Next, I’ll put some Potsdam 100 to the test. I’m hoping it is high silver content like Double-X. All my development is in Cinestill Df96 Monobath - it’s superb. Thx. And good luck.
The most fascinating thing about Lomo film is always tracing down it's origins - I just wanted to comment "but isn't it Kodak anyway?", then googled a bit and it seems like this is actually ORWO film, which I believed was long lost and forgotten. But this brings me to my problem with Lomography, you can never expect constant results from it because they just might change the film formula without notice - case in point Lady Grey, which started out as being T-Max originally (my favourite and therefore being a really good deal), then being switched to Foma (which is actually cheaper under it's original name and I don't like it that much), two films with very different looks... so, great films for fun experiments, but you can't expect them looking the same all the time. :-/ That said, I think I need to try this one!
Yes, Potsdam ist excelent film, but this is only good old ORWO UN54+ in 120. ORWO UN54 sey Double X from East (I know: German, DDR too, isnt east, but central Europe; UN54 is more likely Plus X). Why is too expensive?
First one? The film looks nice, have to check it out! Thanks for sharing your thoughts Hashem! 😊👌
Haha Robin wins 😄
Thanks man, yeah it's a unique look... definitely worth a try!

Great review! Amazing shots and tonality! Can't wait to test it in my C330 and M645, though!
Hope you enjoy it!

Awesome video. Absolutely love the look of this film. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking it out!
Looks good. I'm a fan of Fomapan, but I might try this. Lomography deserves our support.
Wow, this film is gorgeous! I LOVE your still life shots, quite lovely.
Thank you! 🙂
I did shoot at least one Potsdam film and I loved it. It really gives the "filmy" sense, like some old German film noire.
I like it a lot . Both the orwo un54 (potsdam) and your film. :) I love also the Old orwo film stock, try some np20 and np15
This looks great. will have to give it a try sometime. thanks for the review.
Photos looks great! Usually my go to 100 (125) speed bw film is Ilford FP4 125 iso film. Have you used that? If so what are your thoughts on it ?

I recently bought lomographies tester pack of B&W, which also had this film. I haven't tested it yet. I love your results.
Oh nice! Didn't know they did that, will check it out :) hope you get some good results
@@pushingfilm Included was Postdam, Berlin & Ladygrey. It only comes in 120mm.
I have put two rolls of it through my Pentax 6x7 and I love it. I'm looking forward to using it more in 35mm as well.

Woah, nice choice in ink. What pens do you have?
