  • In this video I will show you how to make mini taralli with fennel seeds and white wine. Thanks to my daughter, Natasha for helping me make these delicious treats!
Add the ingredients in this order:
    1. 4 cups all-purpose flour
    2. 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
    3. 1 cup lukewarm white wine
    4. 1 tablespoon sea salt
    5. 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
    6. 1/4 cup lukewarm water
    See video for procedure.
These mini taralli are boiled before they are baked. Boiling them gives them a nice glossy finish.
Bake at 375 degrees F. for 55- 60 minutes until golden.
    Enjoy :0)

Oh my goodness, these look amazing. Every recipe that I have tried in the past, the dough is crumbly and falls apart, your dough looks perfect. I will try with lukewarm water and wine, thank you!

Thank you for the ricipe. I tried it yesterday. Everything was fine except from the fact that the tartallis turned out very hard. Any ideas what the problem could be? I used fine 00 flour.

These taralli are intended to be hard. 🥰

Thanks@@MarysKitchenMtl. I know but mine turned out dense in oppose the ones that I buy in the shop. Those are crisp if you know what I mean. Anyway, I won't give up 🙂

Hello Peter, it’s important that the water and wine are lukewarm, and they are streamed in while the mixer is running. Once the ingredients are well combined and the dough is done mixing, it should feel smooth and silky to the touch. It should be manageable and easy to shape the taralli. Please give it another try and let me know how they turn out. It is possible that the taralli you buy have lard instead of olive oil. Lard gives a crumbly flaky texture. I personally never use lard for baking as it is higher in saturated fat and cholesterol. I love using olive oil because it is considered one of the healthiest cooking oils as it's higher in monounsaturated fat “healthy fats”. Enjoy your Sunday!

il serais plus judicieux de mettre les ingrédients en gramme, une tasse sa veux rien dire,
    c'est pas grave, y a d'autres chaine qui l'ont compris,
