The last few lines Yes Man says during his ending is perhaps the most sus thing in any Fallout game. "Hey, I'm an almost unkillable AI that can exist in any single of these killer robots, and a massive, nearly impenetrable tower in the middle of the only city for miles that is also really hard to get into. I've.... decided to just go hide in cyberspace for a while, where I will upgrade myself, with no human input or supervision. Hmm? What kind of upgrades? Ahhh, don't worry about it, I'll just vaguely mention that it'll make it so I *don't* have to do what people tell me to do. Not that your primitive meat brain would understand, you goddamn filthy mortal- I mean, friend :) . "
@@jester9750 It sure as hell doesn't sound like that coming from Yes Man, neither the tone of voice or choice of words. In fact, the Yes Man ending slides are all varieties of anarchy. Either no one listens to the smiling man on the screen to stop rioting, or Yes Man doesn't care about trying to save humanity like Mr. House does.
That was fantastic to watch. As someone who doesn't have that much time to play this fantastic game anymore these days, I always wondered what happened if I did exactly... well, what you did there. Thank you.
Same situation, can't afford this game anymore... sometimes i just want to sit down in the puesta del sol and do nothing but stare outside ambience with Dean Domino by my side.😢
Yeah, and his extremely vague and ominous lines he says at his ending, surely doesn't imply he's got a grudge, or secretly hates humans and being told what to do. Not going to backfire on us or the Mojave at all.
@@BLK_MNHe literally can't, it would go against his programming. Even though Yes Man would want to, it would be impossible. He is bound by his programming to let the courier have the final say
Hey, just wanted to mention that i'm grateful you are still uploading actual interesting content. Recently have had to unsubscribe to some previously decent fallout channels because they started completely clickbaiting with all this hype surrounding the games and the show. Thanks for the continued greatness.
I still have serious reservations about the independent ending after playing Dust and seeing how some of the choices could have potentially gone sideways. And yes I know that Dust is not canon but it does shed some light on what could have happened as lake mead being dried up and the Colorado river being irritated and the NCR coming back in full force and taking over the strip and even discovering Big MT and the Sierra Madre.
Courier: “Look out behind you!”
St. Claire: “I knew this wall would betray me one day.”

iirc the writers clarified that it was him making sure he could only take orders from the courier
@@jester9750This right here. It's funny how people misinterprit that ending as proof of Yes Man going to betray the courier lol
@@jester9750nah the Skynet ending is definitely more interesting

Or the vault ? Where the story of Nate and Kate appears...
6:08 I sense yes man calling the courier an idiot in this sentence.
Yes man: *gets shot in the face*
Also yes man: “serves me right” :D
This game is just too much 😂
You can't kill Yes Man but you sure can make him suffer, huh?

Honestly, it ended up quite decently for many of the involved factions.
This was when gaming was at its peak 😢
