Tin Whistle Lesson - Inisheer (Inis Oir) & Trill on B (great beginnner tune!)

- This is a quick and dirty video, using the tune Inisheer to demonstrate a cool ornament called a trill, on the note B. I've used this ornament in the past but I don't think I've ever gone through and broken it down, and this is a lovely slow air to pick up along the way.

Just started learning this with my teacher, really sweet tune.
Been inside that ship. Beautiful little island
Just went there. Absolutely stunning.
In Highland piping, the ornament is actually called a Dare (or Vedare if coming from a higher note). It's a type of movement in Piobaireachd. Solid breakdown of this tune. Love your content!
In classical music it's known as a mordent, fun to learn different names for essentially the same thing.
all time Fav..... Thanks
Great tune by Tommy Walsh, and you play it well. Thank you for breaking it down. As a beginner tin whistler, I appreciate that.

So glad to see the inisheer tutorial.
I love your tutorials man!!!
If you had a graphic beside you indicating finger placement it would make the world of difference
Thanks so much for breaking your ornamentation down. Really helpful
The ornament is a turn... A trill is a constant repetition of 2 notes. Love the channel. Fantastic videos.
There is no better on the whistle than you! I love learning from your videos.
What tune is the signal melody (0:17)? Anybody can tell me so that I can look for it on youtube? THank you!!
That's one that I wrote with our band ua-cam.com/video/gjGxcvoYPQs/v-deo.html
