Ive had one of these for about 6 months now except mine is running xp as it was a clearance model because of its age. I LOVE it! It's great for picking up when im in a rush to get to class. Excellent battery life! I get about 9-10 hours if I keep the screen dimmed so it lasts me the whole day. charge it over night and ready to go again the next day.
the thing is pretty much all laptops have that "bloat-ware" on it, the key is formatting, and reinstalling windows (assuming you have a copy to use) and removing those default partitions as well. After this is done, all laptops perform leaps-and-bounds beyond what they did out-of-the-box. Best advice i can give from my experience with laptops.

have the n150 too and the win7 starter version which is installed is very very worse, it is runs very slow, but after installing my own win7 ultimate and it runs wonderful, after a week I bought 2 gigs of ram and iam very impressed, runs perfect
I have this Netbook. it starts up much faster than you have just described, runs really well actually. I meets all my computer needs, not too fond of windows 7 starter though. other than that, it's actually the best windows-based computer I've had in my life.....

I have a question in regards to the "bloatware". This annoys me that it has so much bloatware, but if I were to install a fresh version of Windows 7, would the netbook still function properly? I mean, I always thought laptops NEEDED some of the stuff preinstalled on them. E.G. The battery icon on the toolbar? *SHRUGS*
I didn't get why You treat additional programs as a disadvantege. Computer is not plug-and-play hardware so 25 minutes to cofigure it is really not much time. Nowadays, when installing operating system on your own is as easy as instaling any game, replacing 7 starter to xp or linux is NOT a problem. IMHO there should be one more USB port (my external HDD needs 2 ports ;/).
@TekBeatTV the problem is in the verison of the intel driver graphic, or something like that the version 8,0,... , the last version is the problema, but the previously works, thanks
if this doesnt have a CD drive, how do you reformat this when it gets so messed up that it wont even start up??? and other programs just the big question is on the cd drive
Wouldnt it just be easier to go to "add remove programs?" The problem that I am having is that when I purchased the N150 Plus at Best Buy it didnt come with any back up software. I've been to add remove programs but I am not sure what I should keep or delete. Any help would be super spectacular!

@NuclearWarPony I just bought this,on back order from bestbuy,didn't spend the 100 bucks for them to set it up.I'm thinking of buying the windows 7 family pack and also upgrade my old POS desktop,not exactly sure if that can be done,very limited computer software skills,Can I not load the windows start software and go straight into the home edition?

People are hating on this computer teribbly, you need to delete bloatware, upgrade RAM, and deleterestore or backup states, and upgrade ur windows 7 to home premium or higher, I can run FL Studio, Photoshop, and After Effects with no issues

I have this netbook, And it's the slowest netbook I've ever used. When I watch a UA-cam Video, It plays like a slideshow. When I reboot this netbook it takes about 10-15 minutes. I can't even play any game on this thing. I wouldn't recommend this netbook. You're just gonna waste your money. Seriously.

i am tired of searching drivers for this netbook. plus it IS f*cking slow with windows 7 starter which comes with it. tried vista and xp.. doesnt like it.. because of drivers issues... this netbook is RUBBISH!!!!!!!!!

You reckon it could run the Sims 3? Is the shard memory powerful enough?
It cant run sims 3 because it has 192MB of VRAM but it can run half life, half life 2, team fortress classic and the built in games great
