Krásne spracované video, skvelá jazda. Tadialto som nikdy nešiel o to s väčším záujmom som si to pozrel.
Congratulation! Quite a short waiting time, probably thanks to two border check counters. You also won by being early in the morning and avoiding waiting in the heat.
"Short waiting time"?! Almost 3h at the border to make 1.5km distance?!! What year is it, the early 80s and Schengen has yet to be created and your country isn't part of the EU?!!!
@@you2be839 Serbia's non-membership in Schengen and Hungary's role as an entry point to the EU are factors contributing to the situation. Similar border controls are in place between Serbia and Bulgaria. The ongoing war Russia against Ukraine was also a factor.
@@riesling5771 I haven't been following all the details, but I just find it weird that there are countries which are not part of EU, but are part of Schengen; and then we have Romania and Bulgaria that are part of EU for over 15 years now, but are still not part of Schengen! But despite all that, it's even stranger that neither the EU, nor central European countries, nor Greece, nor Bulgaria, nor Turkey seem interested in promoting a fast road corridor for goods between Central Europe and Greece/Turkey without having to deal with a non-EU country like Serbia as an intermediary for the "fast" transportation of goods and people! Greece, despite being connected to EU via Bulgaria and Romania, in practice it remains isolated from EU because those 2 countries do not effectively take part in Schengen, and even if they did, it's going to take decades before those 2 countries offer a fast highway road network that is a viable alternative to the Serbian highway!!...
Seems like an interesting road trip, and it was all filmed during daytime, no rainy weather, and when everything is still green... which is how all road trips should be filmed :) But what's the time-lapse speed? Can't you upload the videos in real-time?... To check what the roads look like, time-lapse is good enough... but to really get a feel for the trip and how long it really takes, real time is the better option...
Well, that was quite disappointing to see that in the year 2023, almost 30 years after Schengen Agreement was created, and 16 years after Romania and Bulgaria have entered the EU, that there still isn't a faster road connecting central Europe and Greece through EU countries only, and that the faster road between Central Europe and Greece/Bulgaria (and even into Turkey) means traveling through non EU countries with such long waiting times at the border! If you told me that you may have to wait up to 3h at the Serbian border, I'd never travel by car through that region!!
Welcome back to Greece.
You always give me great ideas how to avoid long queues in the borders.
