You're comparing stats from 2 totally different strength of schedules. It's easy to rack up stats playing against JV teams. PSU is a stone wall against the ground game this year and has done well applying pressure to QBs at the same time. I got PSU on top 24-20

@@jimjimmcdonut I understand that, but the perpetuating from Joel and other pundits gets old. We all know Michigan didn’t play anyone. Let’s look at Georgia’s schedule. Martin Tennesee (nobody). Ball St (nobody) UAB (nobody) SC (weak) Auburn (weak) Kentucky (midtear average) Vandy (very weak) etc… yet you never hear the analyst beat a dead horse over their schedule. They sheepishly ignore it, especially ESPN the SEC’s biggest promoter. Alabama over the last ten years was similar. You play who’s in front of you, so stop with the ever going mantra “Michigan hasn’t played anyone this year”narrative. It’s just ridiculous.
That's strategic...they blew off hard games to stay healthy, cheating aside,...Harbaugh style...cheat to win Joel. When you know you don't have to sell out for a pass you can all point to the run...whoever carries the ball is like a deer on opening day in a field surrounded by hunters...totally different team. 8-4, 9-3, 2-4 running away from The Game in 2020....suddenly 11-1. If it smells bad it is bad.
The one thing that’s been bugging me about Joel this year is his praise for Michigan, who hasn’t played anybody, but he constantly down plays Georgia who also hasn’t played anybody until Missouri.
Joel klatt you truly are the best thank you for all your great perspective and such a great show all the great delivery you're such a great content creator in sports personality I believe you will go down in history as one of the very best all-time! Yes the SEC cupcakes let us not forget the citadel of the world late in the season lol the reason it makes me mad is because that narrative about the SEC being such a hyper Dominant conference look at those teams they play late in the season
How is Penn St going to score more than 17pts on Michigan? Game over. 31-13 Blue. Haters will have to come up with another excuse for this one. If it snows - they can blame that - like 3rd base boy did. Or the flu. Or signs. Or softness. One of those.
It was Gregg Doyle. Google David Cone get off my lawn and it’s the first episode from November 8th that’s 3 mins long he rips him for it and it’s hilarious.
I don’t mind Georgia and don’t care for Ole Miss, but the way Klatt said Ole Miss had no chance. Well I’m now hoping Ole Miss at least loses by less than 10 points.
I definitely think Ole miss is the toughest opponent georgia will face until the CCG, I bet they give em a run for they're money. But the only way Ole miss wins is by getting interceptions and stopping the run. Ole miss secondary need to be on point and get those turnovers. They need to be able to bring pressure to cause beck to have bad throws. They don't need to sack him, just affect him.
As an Oregon fan I will take any win over USC. But this year's Duck team is a lot different from the past. - Bo is by far one of the best leaders at QB we've had (except for maybe Mariota). He is calm and reads defenses really well and calls audibles that even the coaches are praising. - We have two backs in Irving and James that are reminiscent of Barner and James from the Chip days. Small but strong and very fast and cut on a dime. - The receiving core has some impressive go to guys in Franklin, Tez Johnson, Ferguson and Herbert. - Coach Lanning is a huge improvement over the previous three head coaches. His players are completely behind him and buy into his approach and his true passion for the game. -And something Lanning has brought to Oregon through his recruiting and coaching, a very improved defense. May be the best defense Oregon has had in decades. So, taking this all into account I believe Oregon wins by at least two TD's. They're home at Autzen and it is going to be cold and wet. Oregon will run easily against the Trojans and Bo will have close to 300 yards passing and a couple of TD's. And although Caleb Williams will throw for yardage, the Oregon defense should put enough pressure on him and make a few stops. Ducks win 42-21.
23 ppg is not terrible 41% 3rd down allowed 40% 4th down allowed That means we do get stops. We hold teams to their scoring average. USC scores 42 a game.
Joel knows football and knows anybody that thinks this UM scandal is a “big” deal, is massively overreacting. UM might have to show some examples of others doing the same/worse here very soon to expose the hypocrisy of some other programs and the NCAA
I'm not scared, but USC's explosive O has me concerned...Oregon can't afford a slow start - see the WSU and Cal games - to avoid playing from behind...with the leadership the Ducks have from the HC on down I think they'll be ready to introduce CW's USC team to Autzen stadium...Ducks cover the 16.5 spread and keep their dreams alive...
being a mizzou fan i knew it would be tough beating georgia in athens but they gave them a tough game and had their chance but you aren’t the champs unless you know how to finish and they did we didn’t…that said tough game against tennessee if we play like we did last weekend i like our chances MIZ
He should have discussed Tennessee at Missouri, no doubt one of the biggest games of the weekend. If the Vols beat the Tigers and the Rebs beat the Dawgs then Tennessee could still win the East and go the SEC Championship if they defeat Georgia next week
NCAA investigation should take its time to do a full and fair investigation. For those who want Harbaugh out, that is simply between him and his employer, and not between him and the Big 10, or him and the NCAA. I really don't see why the NCAA should do anything until the investigation is complete.

You can't tell me they had to throw the ball last week up 56-19. As for something special? They've beaten one team in the top 25. Washington more than covers. They’ve wanted this game all year. It’s taken time to grow through injuries at various positions during the year. Some bad play was from backups in blowouts and they were sick for 2 games. They’re getting better and healthier each week.
Washington gave up 1 score to ASU also and Penix and a bunch of other guys had the Flu in that game. Washington scored 36 on Oregon Utah scored 6. Unprecedented = never been done or known before.
@ 22:53 - When you describe UW being 10-0 for the first time since their 1991 National Championship team, and then describe the situation as unprecedented, that's when your producer needs to cut. #makeedits #raisethebar
He’s talking about the UW program
Husky football. NCAA record 61 game unbeaten streak and second longest winning streak at 40 games.
You're comparing stats from 2 totally different strength of schedules. It's easy to rack up stats playing against JV teams. PSU is a stone wall against the ground game this year and has done well applying pressure to QBs at the same time. I got PSU on top 24-20
Joel, I think you misspoke when you said "Arizona State". I think you meant Washington State.
Nothing hits like "it was an epic day" in the intro
I'm a Longhorn fan. My team is almost always on upset alert.
Especially with our backup QB, I was so nervous about last week.
Texas has the best win so far this year...Oregon has the best loss...if both win out, they BOTH deserve a place in the playoffs...
Little disappointed in the UM/PSU breakdown. You spent ten mins talking about JJ (Warranted, he's playing well.) instead of actually addressing the possibility of this question in the title of your video "Will Penn State take down Michigan?" Didn't really get a breakdown on the key matchups that could turn the tide of the game and felt like you just gushed about JJ for awhile and then said "Oh yeah PSU played a good game last week" and moved onto UGA/Ole Miss.
He can't pick a team because he's calling that game
I mean I didn't ask him to pick a team I was just expecting an exciting breakdown and I got gushing over JJ and 3 mins of Penn State coverage. If you ask me he already made his pick. @@dp-116

Yeah, and penn st had a difficult schedule. 🤦🏻♂️. UMASS, Delaware, give me a break.
Everyone plays cupcakes. Michigan has played an extremely soft schedule which is reflected in their strength of schedule rank

Joel, that is a really nice shirt. Who makes it?
Either way, it's going to be a great game.
The one thing that’s been bugging me about Joel this year is his praise for Michigan, who hasn’t played anybody, but he constantly down plays Georgia who also hasn’t played anybody until Missouri.
It’s about eye test. Uga has had multiple games where they just didn’t look like it. Michigan has yet to have that.
Joel klatt you truly are the best thank you for all your great perspective and such a great show all the great delivery you're such a great content creator in sports personality I believe you will go down in history as one of the very best all-time! How is Penn St going to score more than 17pts on Michigan? Game over. 31-13 Blue. Haters will have to come up with another excuse for this one. If it snows - they can blame that - like 3rd base boy did. Or the flu. Or signs. Or softness. One of those.
Michigan’s rise to prominence coincides with their spygate
I read an article about a Heisman voter/sports writer who stated he would not vote for McCarthy because of the investigation
Yes, I saw that too. He should have his voting privilege revoked

What does past games have to do with now? That doesn’t determine what happens today. Not saying Utah will win but it won’t be a cake walk
Vols might lose at Faurot Field, I agree.
@hollyweirdland940 yes it is, and yes they might
I don’t mind Georgia and don’t care for Ole Miss, but the way Klatt said Ole Miss had no chance. Well I’m now hoping Ole Miss at least loses by less than 10 points.
The top 6 teams control their own destiny. Others will need outside help.
@fcodxdart1083 Shame on you. You MUST think Auburn is going to upset Alabama. Otherwise Dawgs v Tide is

@@pestyoverlord yeah thats one of the worst takes ive ever seen oregon by 40 minimum bet on it
@@pestyoverlordyou uneducated?
23 ppg is not terrible
41% 3rd down allowed
40% 4th down allowed
That means we do get stops. We hold teams to their scoring average. USC scores 42 a game.
Lol Oregon is the #1 offense in cfb Usc defense is terrible
Joel knows football and knows anybody that thinks this UM scandal is a “big” deal, is massively overreacting. UM might have to show some examples of others doing the same/worse here very soon to expose the hypocrisy of some other programs and the NCAA
As a oregon fan I'm scared.
Oregon by 20 unless USC defense plays with pride. We know USC can score.
being a mizzou fan i knew it would be tough beating georgia in athens but they gave them a tough game and had their chance but you aren’t the champs unless you know how to finish and they did we didn’t…that said tough game against tennessee if we play like we did last weekend i like our chances MIZ
He should have discussed Tennessee at Missouri, no doubt one of the biggest games of the weekend. If the Vols beat the Tigers and the Rebs beat the Dawgs then Tennessee could still win the East and go the SEC Championship if they defeat Georgia next week
Last game he discussed lol
@@mr.nobody8181 I saw his games from the beginning and I didn’t see Tennessee at Missouri as one of them so I assumed he skipped it so that’s my bad
NCAA investigation should take its time to do a full and fair investigation. For those who want Harbaugh out, that is simply between him and his employer, and not between him and the Big 10, or him and the NCAA. I really don't see why the NCAA should do anything until the investigation is complete.

I can’t take Michigan serious after losing to TCU last year …Oregon still got something prove after getting dawged by the dawgs so unless we don’t want the championship to be competitive this year let’s put bump Bama and Texas up
under your logic - using last year's outcomes to affect this year's playoffs - then Washington get's the nod over Texas since UW beat Texas in the Alamo Bowl, which is, of course, in Texas (part of Washington's 16 game winning streak; 2nd longest in the nation)...anyone who's watched UGA and Oregon know that neither team is the same as last year's version...with that said, I think UGA should be #1 until someone (read Bama) beat's 'em...and I'm a Duck fan...
Early in the year the PAC 12 was top ranked conference. After beating each other up some the east coast bias has put the conference much lower.
Now I know for sure that you haven’t watched ole miss this season

You can’t compare Michigans stats from this year to last year when they haven’t played anyone yet
Not if the signs are stolen…

They scored 81 points on Portland.. And threw the ball for a touchdown up 56-19 late In the 4th last week. I don't care second stringers 3rd stringers. Running up the scores running up the score. You can't tell me they had to throw the ball last week up 56-19. As for something special? They've beaten one team in the top 25. Michigan hasn't played anyone, hasn't been under the gun since TCU and we saw what happened, 51 points allowed, 2 pick-6's. PSU has this.
I over rated Michigan last year we saw what happened in the playoffs.
Bo Bo Nix🎉
The claim that Michigan is different than from other sign stealers due to an employee gathering info in person is no different than other teams sharing signals because they would be essentially acting as agents for the other teams. So same thing.
