How did you connect your UA-cam to Canva. I can't find any info on how to do that and your screen looks different than mine. I'm in free Canva. Thank you :)
Hey there 👋 First make sure you are using a video document type. For that, start from the homepage, click the "Video" icon and choose any of the document types there. Next, once you've edited your video project, click on "Share" then "Download". Canva should show you a prompt there to connect your Canva account to your UA-cam account if they are not yet connected. Another way you can check is to go to the "More" button on the left side menu in the Canva Editor. Look for the UA-cam app icon, and click on the 3 little dots in the top right corner of that app icon. Hope this works for you, let us know how you go 😉
Thanks for this cool tutorial. How do I get my animations to stay static after they play? For example, if I have an image which pops onto the screen, but before the next slide appears, that image seems to do the reverse and pops out which looks kind of unprofessional. Only on the next page is it then static. So I basically, if the animation is 4 seconds long, I only want 2 seconds of that animation to play, therefore cutting off the remaining 2 seconds. Is this possible? Also, is that Ronny from Udemy? :-)
Hi there 👋 we completely understand your question about the animations. Unfortunately for now, Canva will animate in & out, without giving us the option to do just in or just out. I do believe this will change in the near future and that we will have more control over the timing of these animations as this is a common request from Canva users. So Canva will probably listen. You skipped a step right at the beginning - I'm brand new to Canva and I need the instructions on where to create the blank box that you created - what size are you using? Where do I do this? Maybe this video isn't for true beginners.
Hey Sulaiman - these videos are for short social media Posts, so perhaps not as high quality as a video created elsewhere. I just created a 4 page animation, starting with size 1080x1080px, and it downloaded as 988KB, so perhaps you need to start with a larger project shape like this to get a higher quality? Let me know if you need any help :-)

Hi John, yes you can do that. You'll need to spread your project across 3 pages: - the beginning of your video - a new page with your slide - the rest of your video then export it all as a video. This should work.
Hi Diana. I have Canva Pro - but not the animation options you show at 3:50 of this video? I have only the standard ones that Canva supplies (for example, Drift or Stomp) any thoughts?
Canva recently changed the way the effects look on the screen. The ones you’re mentioning are Pro options. If you cannot access them, please check that you are logged in the team in which you are on Canva Pro.
Hey Diana, I noticed a feature under the animation list that I havn't seen before, "Photo Animate" is this a new feature? I've checked my canva and don't seem to have it?

yes you can do that.
